Can anybody in the know comment about a PSW10 sub for $90? So far I got M60s for fronts, M40s for rears, CS2 for center but still missing a sub.
Thanx.
XTKNIGHT: First of all thanks for keeping this topic updated for so many years, it's such a great service to community and make researching monitors so easy. I'm a pretty picky gamer and used to stick with Sony CRTs for the longest time (part of it was because I saw how horrible LCD was on my...
And even if you miss and the dart lands anywhere within 20 yards from you, it's still a gonner in my experience. Burries itself right under the lawn. So yeah, one time use and very deadly, definitely not a kids toy. One thing I did though was tie a knott on one side of the string and it made...
Just so you guys know if you plan on shooting these in your back yard at a target or something make sure you stock up on the darts. I went through 20 or so darts in 5 minutes and only recovered three. Even the darts that hit the target punched through and kept on going until they burried...
You don't need a wheel, I've played a bunch of games with a nice Logitech joystick and I preferred it to a wheel because I could go from extreme left to extreme right in split seconds yet still have fine precision in smooth curves. And it barely takes up any space on the desk.
Well this sucks. I used one of them cards that come with games to bump up my live subscription to Gold for couple of days and it's still showing $10. Is the promotion still on?
EDIT: Well, of course there's a fine print on the card, duh:
*Xbox Live 48-hour trial allows acccess to online...
Well I got it along with Plants VS Zombies for $10. Both games are fun and are surprisingly similar. Both feature a puzzle and strategy element for stopping AI cannon fodder except in Plants vs Zombies, instead of towers you plant plants that shoot peas ect, and you need to stop zombies from...
Yep, I have Garmin GPS with bluetooth too and it's useless. Give me any cheap bt earpiece for $25 and it'll be much better. Same thing with MP3 player, useless features that run up the price on a unit. Who wants to listen to mp3s through that little speaker while driving.
Man, I have like at least 50 games in my steam account from all these crazy sales. I played maybe five of them. They keep on offering offers I can't refuse, even if there's a chance I won't ever get to it. And they're all good games too, I buy stuff that looks appealing, I just don't have...
Um, it's $5. Less than a price of a meal. Half the price of a movie. Why not buy it if screenshots look interesting and try it for yourself?
EDIT: Also, if you search steam for this game there's a demo available for you to try.
The beauty of steam, as long as you have the game in your account you can install it on any machine any time you want anywhere. Just make sure steam app doesn't remember your password if you're doing it on someone elses pc.
Yeah, I just received my limited Jasper Red Elite from DELL, $320 shipped. Comes with RE5 and a download card for Street Fighter 2 (love that game) and a RE5 theme. Subtract the cost of games and the brand new Elite comes out to be around $250. I think similar sales are going to be available...
I would wait on this. MS is coming out with a new elite bundle which includes Halo 3 and Fable 2. You should be able to pick it up from DELL probably for $350. It's almost guaranteed to be Jasper mobo at this point.
If you get 2, shipping is only $1 more for me. So, 13.49x2+9.00s&h = 35.98. I didn't bother with live cashback because I couldn't find geeks in their stores list.
Yep, they make you sign up and give them all your information for them to give you the coupon box. Only then you can use paypal after going through most of the checkout through them. I didn't mind cus I was already set up with them. They get some deals here and there.
Not if you click "pay with paypal" without first going through their checkout. They eliminate then the coupon box later on at check out. Was confused at first too.
Definitely not worth it. I ordered a Red RE5 bundle Elite from DELL a week and a half ago. Total came to around $320 shipped. Subtract $60 dollars for the game plus another $10 or so For Street Fighter download voucher and it comes to about $250. The xbox is shipped already and supposed to...
$23 shipped. So many games backlogged I have no idea when I'll get to it so I think meanwhile I'll just wait for steam sale. Anybody know if the serial number from this game will work with steam?
These black drives in particular are pretty much top of the line performance drives. They have two proccessors on board for faster reading and a ton of cache. They are almost as good as much more expensive Raptors from WD and better than most other drives in same price range. Fast and quiet...
Have you ever tried a Logitech joystick with racing games on PC? After a bit of gain tweaking, the ammount of control and precision kills thumb stick IMO. I used to be able to stay perfectly in a lane in need for speed games on turns ect after tweaking a joystick. Trick is to tone it down...
That would be completely game specific. If a game doesn't use more than 512 megs of textures then they will both look identical. But if a game uses close to 1 gig of textures you will have to cut texture quality conciderably to make it fit 512 meg model. Then you will see the difference.
I would personally wait for 1GB card if you plan on doing some serious gaming. It's going to be a little bit more future proof. Also if you plan on playing GTA4 on PC, textures on high quality in that game already max out 1GB cards.
You would guess it's simple, not in ATI's case though. And certainly not when you include garbage like .NET into equation. I had .NET 1 installed for earlier versions of CCC. New CCC I think required .NET 2 which I didn't have installed. Not sure what went wrong but it doesn't change the...
Man these ATI cards look tempting and they come with more ram but I swore to never go ATI again until they fix their bloated .NET control panel. It's a huge resource hog plus it corrupted my windows on installation because I think I didn't have the latest .NET garbage version from MS.
Saw this on Shacknews. This is awesome indie game that won a bunch of awards. Very polished and enjoyable from the demo I tried. I would've gotten it for $10 but $5 is a steal.
