I'm doing a new build with the H220 and Arc Midi R2. It barely fits. I have barely enough space to fit an optical drive with it's cables in the top slot because the H220 is very close to the end of the drive. I don't think a longer radiator will fit.
Depends on what he likes to shoot. I use a D300S and now a D7100 and thought I would miss the 16 but I usually shoot longer so I even rarely shoot at 24. My walk around lens is the 35 1.8 mainly because it's small.
Anyone know whats going on with this AIO cooler? It's supposed to be on the market but it's been sold out everywhere. I emailed Swiftech and got no response. I want to switch cases but would like to do it the same time I install this cooler.
I keep the SB-400 just in case I need a flash. When I know I'll need one, I take a SB-800. A SB-800 is too big to carry around all of the time. A SB-400 on ebay cost only about $100
I appreciate it but I think I'll stick with just upgrading my case (to a Arc Midi R2) and CPU cooler (to a H220) this year. Then my youngest gets out of preschool and frees up $800/month so I may do my upgrades then. I can do more research to what will help me the most. Maybe AMD will come out...
I use Corel Videostudio x5 to do some editing and encoding. I have a HD5450 video card. I had the GTX 660 Ti but it slowed things down so I went back to my older card and it was fine. I guess I was reading the other thread about the Haswell and was wondering if it was worth waiting for...
The 2500K is overclocked. I've got it to about 4.1. Any higher, the temp goes to 60-70 at idle. I am also waiting for the Swiftech H220 to get in stock. I do most of my editing around football and basketball seasons. Maybe a 3-4 hours a week. I guess I like fast computers. How would the AMD 6...
I currently have a 2500K but it's two years and am thinking about a new build. No gaming but I do a lot of video editing. I was looking at two processors, 3570K or 3930K. How much of an improvement would I get with each of these processors and would the 3930K be overkill? Or will Haswell be a...
I'm looking for the smallest case that will fit a Swiftech H220 AIO cpu cooler board. Ideally, it would have 2-3 5.25s and 3-4 3.5s. So far the smallest one I can find is the Arc Midi R2. Is there a smaller one out there?
That's part of the problem. I want a rather small case but it needs top vents for 2 12 mm fans. Looks like Silverstone TJ04B may be it but I don't like their HD tray. I was hoping the Corsair 550D would be OK but I don't know if there is enough room. Depends on the MB I chose when Haswell comes...
Looking to get a Swiftech H220 AIO CPU cooler. Also looking to get a Corsair 550D case with space for two 120 mm fans on the side panel. Would there be any disadvantage to mounting the radiator and fan on the side panel besides the fact that I have to be careful when removing the side panel? I...
I bought a 3 TB HD and installed it into my computer but only can use 1.99 TB and 742 GB is unallocated and I can't get it to do anything. Is it a motherboard problem? Motherboard and processor is in my sig. Thanks
Is there any software that can burn different data to different DVD burners at the same time or do I have to use a different burning program for each DVD burner?
You're using a USB 2.0 stick in a USB 3.0 port and expect to get USB 3.0 speed, is that correct? If it is, you won't get USB 3.0 speed until you get a USB 3.0 stick and use it in a USB 3.0 port.
Thanks. My other option was to wait for Haswell so maybe I'll just do that. It is overclocked to 4.2. MSI has this thing called Over Clock Genie which overclocks it for you. I just used that.
What would be the main difference between these two chips? I have the 2500k but was thinking about upgrading. I have a p67 board (MSI P67A-GD65) and was hoping to use it or what would be the best board for the Ivy Bridge chipset? No gaming but more for rendering videos. Any articles you could...
YOu don't need a digital audio cable. The red and white one is fine. Make sure you selected the right input for the TV connection on the receiver. If it was working once, it should be working. Double check all of your settings on the receiver.
Not a tower case but I have used this before and it worked well

I have one and it's ok. Too big for a pocket camera so if I'm going to camera either in a bag or on a strap, I would just as well use my DSLR. I like to be able to chose my focus points quickly which you can't do with the V1.
There is no AF-D 35 1.8. Only a 2.0 which is a great lens but unless you're going to a full frame body, I would get the AF-S 35 1.8. Equal optically and the AF-S is slightly cheaper.
Looking for a new motherboard for Socket 1155 with a 2500K. I only use one video card but I have a lot of PCI express X1 add on cards for TV tuners, SATA and eSATA port multipliers. Looking for a MB that has mostly PCI express x1 slots available. Preferably also with firewire. Found a ASUS P8Z77...
