I was misinformed. Samsung HLM and HLN are equipped with HD-2, which is supposed to have higher contrast ratio than the first generation. Typically HD-2 has a contrast ratio of 1000:1, as stated in Samsung and Panasonic HD-2 DLP HDTV. In comparison, HD-1 based HDTV is in the 400-500:1 range.
UECWeb has a super deal on this DLP HDTV monitor. It also includes a matching stand, a spare lamp, and one year factory warranty. White glove delivery is about $200.
UECWeb typically sell refurbished Hitachi products. But this one appears to be new as it carries a one-year warranty as opposed...
s0ssos, I can immediately tell that the colors of your pictures are quite dull compared with alternex's. I am not just talking about those pictures taken against sunlight. Time for you to upgrade?
Check out dpreview.com, you get all the answers you want. The bottomline is this: 10D is $600 more expensive. You would expect 10D to outperform Digital Rebel in most areas. But they share the same 6M pixel CMOS sensor. So the output quality is similar. If you are a semi-pro, you would probably...
It just became available for sale at Dell home, but not on the web yet. You have to call them. This is the lowest legitimate deal you can get. The 10% discount expires on 9/29, but they may run out of stock sooner. If you are interested in it, you need to make a decision quick.:D
That's the good ole Leadman model. I don't know exactly the relationship between Powermax and Leadman. But the difference between their quality is night and day. Leadman still has its own web site.
Before you actually see it, you can'tmake this assumption. This one weights 4LB and 6.5OZ (just measured it on a postal scale). Now give me another example of "low-end OEM 300W PSU" at this weight?
Ok. I missed a few hours of sleep. It should be 100,000 hours. We still talk about 10 years, which still far exceeds its technology life cycle (I don't think I will run a 350GHz pentium on a 300W PS).
Just received it today. It is indeed incredible value. Although I expect Sparkle to be well made, the low price kept me somewaht suspecious. Now I wish I had ordered three to replace PSUs in all my PCs. It is heavy, heavier than the 300W Lite-on, and much heavier than the 400W generic I am...
After some unlucky experience with the 300W Lite-on from Directron, I was searching for a good power supply at a good price. I came across the 300W Sparkle at MicroTech for only $15 shipped. I think it is a good deal for all of you budget minded persons looking for a good power supply. The...
I did send RAM throught the web (very confusing to navigate may I add). But I got no RMA number back.
You are correct that the PSUs appear to be new pulls. But the connectors were damaged as the result of very unskilled work.
There is much confusion about Leadman and Powermax. If you check Leadman's web page and the spec. of the Leadman 400W PSU, you will find that there is nothing similar with the 400W Powermax PSU. While Leadman is on the AMD approval list and Powermax is not, many seem to believe that Powermax...
Some of you might have good luck with it, but I did not.
I ordered two of them. Both came defective as the connectors were damaged when they were pulled from the servers (they were apparently recycled PSUs). A week after submitting RMA to Directron, I got no response. I am planning just to...
I bought a cheap 400W PS a few months ago, and have been kicking myself since. My system would automatically reboot a couple times a day without anything running.
I am consdiering this Lite-on PS from Directron. What do you guys think?
I have a Microtek 17" from Office Depot late last year. The screen is bright and the color is vivid. I think that it was an excellent deal. The only problem I had was I had to returned the first one due to dead pixels.
And I have the C-2010. Still love it. The best part of it is the lens. It got one of largest apertures for 3x zoom (2.0-2.8) and one of the best macro mode. 2.1MP is sufficient for 8x10 prints, if you don't crop.
There are two BestBuy-only rebates currently valid ($100 and $160). But not sure if you can get both as UPC is required for either rabate. See http://www.wheresmyrebate.com/(lt1hv1nlhs12i3452rx2o145)/find2.aspx.
Bad inks hurt more than just the print quality. They clog you print head. You end up doing more clearning than printing.
Megatoners used to carry the "Fullmark" brand. It was ok with my Epson Photo. But "G&G" color cartridges are really bad. You should not even try you luck. I have less...
No they have not. My holidays were spent on installing 8500DV. Their support was no help either. I ended up returning it back to buy.com. They need to hire better programmers.
The hardware is really nice, thin, small, and well built. But the software is absolutely trash!. The PC synchronization program crashed everytime I tried to download Outlook schedule from PC (there was no problem with email and address download). I tried on two PCs. Same thing. I was using...
