Ok guys. Some 3dmark2005 scores with the X850XT and 1.5gb ram. I tested both the stock 300watt PSU and a Antec 350watt PSU. On the box of the X850XT, it said that a 350 watt PSU is recommended. However my Antec one is a 20pin connector instead of the 24 pin. But never the less I tested it...

Yeah it is a foxconn motherboard. I don't know how well they perform. It seems like you can build a similar system for about the same price. I tried to piece together a system and it came out to be around the same price except that you could get a much better motherboard if you build one...

I read that there is more then one type of core for the 3800+. Which one is better and which is cheaper? Also what does the + at the end of 3800 mean? Are there standard 3800? If I were to get a 3800+, which motherboard would be best for it? I'm not a overclocker btw....I just want something...

yeah I was thinking about the 939 because I heard the only difference between that and the AM2 are that the AM2 can use DDR2. But then I also heard that there isn't much difference between DDR1 and DDR2. Are there X2's that are 939's?

Can someone help me configure a system please?

Thanks for the responses guys. Right now I'm running a P4 2.4ghz 400mhz fbs with 512mb ram, ATI 8500 (YES 8500! :( ) My power source is a 300W antec power source that has that extra dongle thing for the P4. I'm not sure if it would work with the AMD motherboards.

Thanks guys. Is the double plan the Pro plan that has 3megs down? I think I'm only at 1.5meg down right now and I was paying 24.95 a month. But that was the deal over a year ago. I wouldn't mind doubling my speed for the same price.

...ok so basically I had a $24 dollar a month plan with a year contract. My contract was up and when I checked my last bill, it was $50 dollars a month! Is it possible to call Yahoo and tell them to put you back on another year contract and lower the price back down to $24?
