All of a sudden last night my "right click" became slower than snail snot???
In "My Computer", some desktop Icons and especially Nortons Anti Virus Icon in the task bar it takes 30+ seconds to open?
No changes to system ... a normal Anti-Virus and SpyBot update yestrerday ... thats it...

DeeTees, thats exactly how I had hoped to set them up (both as masters on each IDE) with the Plextor on 1. I had to move the DVD player over to IDE 1 as master for it to show up in the boot sequence. The 8X Plextor I had to set to slave on the secondary. I have only done this...

Not knowing a lot about DDR memory my confusion lies in whether 4000 is faster than 3700 or 3700 than 3500 ... and so on?
