i agree, unless WD changed the inter-workings of the drive so that it performs the same, this would account for their claim that there is no performance difference. just a thought

I would like to add my thanks to all the members who did the legwork for this deal, tracking down rebates, fighting with CSR's, posting information, etc. Ya'll are the greatest.
So i check my inbox this morning and what should i find.... confirmation that my drive has shipped? No, its a survey asking me to rate Dell's customer support. Hmm, let's see. My drive still hasn't shipped, I had to track down the rebate myself. Where are the negative numbers on this form? :|
I'm very encouraged that drives are shipping for people. Still nothing on my order ( Retail placed afternoon of the 12th). Still says it will ship on or before Oct. 16:) Maybe next week.
