I bought three Stealths a while back. They're louder than a lot of people say. I dunno maybe I just happened to get three bad ones but they're loud. I'm not talking Tornado loud, but they're miles away from silent, or quiet for that matter.
That 8kae3 Epox board is not a KT400, the 8k9a series isn't but a few dollars more than the 8kae3. I would definitely not consider a KT333 this late in the game. I have both an Epox KT400 and Nforce2, both are rock solid.
Yoda, MS recently (like 4 days ago) released a windows update that fixed my slow shutdowns. Before my shutdowns took about 5 minutes, now it's less than 60 seconds. Have you used the windows update site and gotten all of the criticals in the past few days?
What else did you update besides DX9? Have you done any windows updates since then? I noticed right after I did a windows update I was getting extremely slow shut downs. Are we talking about the same issue?

Ok so I got a 'baybus' type device (no actual brands mentioned :)) and I'd like to copy the design but while doing so, also increase the total wattage of each fan channel. Would I just need to replace the MOSFET with a larger one?
Thermaltake PurePower 420w. :D Very quite, and very stable.
Only problem I've experienced is that it wouldn't boot my SlotA Tbird 750/FIC SD11. Other than that, great product IMO.
