    For those who need Component Video switching the replacement for the HTS-650, the HTS-660 has them. I'm sure it will be awhile before those turn up as refurb units though :). Also Onkyo's TX-SR-501 now has DD EX and DTS ES decoding, but isn't as powerful as the receiver with the HTS-650/660.

    They said they made the new surface harder, so it shouldn't wear out as fast, or at all. Of course it's new on the market, but they've been testing it for awhile and it didn't show much wear. They also made it a bit courser so optical mice would track better.
