I'm in Consulting, but I was speaking of non-degree positions. The positions I was thinking of pay in the $12-$14 range, which isn't bad for an entry level position. One large food manufacturing company required hair follicle drug testing for the line workers. I thought this was excessive...

Workers must be able to pass a drug test, a basic skills test and have no criminal background. These three simple things disqualifies many applicants. In addition, they may need a specialized certification/degree or training.

what about a vegetarian gumbo?
Alton Brown has the easiest gumbo recipe. Substitute vegetable stock instead of seafood/chicken stock. Substitute mushrooms and carrots, maybe red beans if those work instead of shrimp, sausage, chicken or crab.
It will be flavorful.
This is my goto chili recipe. I like the Wick Fowler Chilli kits but found this a much less expensive alternative. I substitute masa harina for about 6-7 tortilla chips crushed in your hand.

Read the Girl on the Train last week, I enjoyed it.
This week it was On Writing: A Memoir of the Craft by Stephen King. Highly enjoyable, you don't have to be an aspiring writer to like this.
The Bogleheads' Guide to Investing, The Bogleheads' Guide to Retirement are great books.
The most important lessons: live below your means, be aware of investment expenses choose an asset allocation and stay the course.
If you grew up in one of the border states you probably know a little bit about the Mexican Loteria game. Its like bingo but with pictures instead of numbers. I've even some of the images as hipster art, 'La Mano' blown up as a poster.

My wife got me the copper E-330 a few months ago as a birthday present. Compared to my old gas grill this thing gets hot! I burned my first cooking attempt, chicken.
But I've gotten used to the heat control and love it. I've never made brisket on this grill so I cant offer advice. I have...
I don't have an answer for you, but I did make a simple CPVC deer feeder that looks like the 2nd pic. It was about $40 in materials if I remember correctly.
I secured it to a tree with bailing wire.
This recipe is an option and it worked well for our last neighborhood progressive dinner.
Its very easy to make and the cranberries brings a unique flavor to the meat. Add some good veggies, bread and wine and it will be a hit. There are many other varieties of this recipe, Martha Stewart...

I dont think so, in my case my daughter hit him with her car while pulling into our driveway. Not intentional, but she wasnt an experienced driver. The impact fractured his jaw cleanly in one spot and he had other minor trauma to his face.
My thoughts are with him, poor little guy.
My pug broke his jaw in March of this year. The vet/surgeon was able to wire his jaw by attaching it to his back molars with dental compond. For about two months he could only eat canned food that was mixed with water or in a blender so he could...
When I was young I used to tie an onion to my belt, which of course was the style of the time. Oh did they have styles in those days, they were both plain and simple.
My dog has had something similar for years. His is actually bigger, but the vet said it was a fat nodule and wasnt something to be concerned about unless it got even bigger, started bleeding or changed color.
