Medal of honor AA & blue screen of death

I was playing mohaa last night and my screen went black. After cold boot I get the screen that asks if I want to start in safe mode or not. But the rig won't even fire up in safe mood. How can I get my rig to boot?

Although, your parts tested ok you may have intermittent problems with one or all of them. That's what happened at our office a while back. We had to replace everything. Not to say that you will, but you might.

Could you lead me to info on doing that 7 volt mod. I can't seem to find it in a search. TIA By the way, what about using a 92mm for that front and doing the mod. on it. I guess that there would be room for one that size.

Why, yes I have tried the fan only plugs. It seemed that Those Vantec's turned real slow. I thought that with only the 2100prm on my cpu that I'd better have those case fans running wide open. Currently my temps run 46-50c. & 31-34c. I don't think I could get by without the front case fan...

Ok, That front fan housing has to go. The whine of that fan is driving me KRAZY! I'll remove the fan housing and drill some holes to mount the fan. Next question is ... that housing also holds my case speaker. What do I do with that sucker?

SVC rounded cable blow out

Well, I just received a fan that SVC had sent me the wrong one (their error). The order date was 11/16/02 today is 12/23/02. They had me ship the wrong one back at my expense I might add. It took them forever to ship the new one to me. I would expect them to at least reimburse me for the...

Davegod, when I touch the plastic cage, the fan whine goes away. I mean if I barely touch it. Like it is transmitting high freq. sound through the plastic.

What is optimal airflow directions?

I guess I'm not sure what it is that you are trying to accomplish here. If your temps are fine are you want to quiet the thing I would try to replace that noisey psu fan along with swaping out case fans with something quieter.

Yea, thats what I was thinking. By using the 80mm I keep the same cooling at lower db + it cools the northbridge. And yes it is the smart fan psu. Any suggestions on how I would get this thing quieter?

How can a larger-better heatsink make my system quieter? My cpu temps are fine. I used an Akasa adapter. It has slots along the side so air blows down the sides of the hs. This helps keep the northbridge cool. The 80mm is somewhat quieter than the stock 60mm hs fan.

MSI KT3 Ultra + which Athlon CPU?

I would have to agree with Curtcold. The Amd price point on the AMD line right now is the 2100xp. But the 2000xp is a little cheaper. I would stay with either of those. The retail version at stock speed would be just as fast as an oc,ed 1600 or 1700. And a three year warranty to boot. Just...

Maybe save a little cash and go with MSI KT3 board. It will save you some cash and be just as fast as the KT4 with that pc2100 ram.

Any Tips on Using a Hole Saw?
