Raptor 74gig VS 200gig SATA performance differences?

It really all depends. If you need the space there is no comparison. If you need to save a few seconds, tops, then you want the Raptor. There really isn't going to be all that much difference in the real-world. Benchmarks show what appears to be a big difference. What a human can notice however...

Will a ATA/133 drive work in a ATA/100 system?

Or close to breaking 100 MB/s. And I don't know of any that can even get past 66 MB/s by themselves (ie; not in RAID in perfect conditions). \Dan

Is this a good monitor?

If you play games or watch DVDs with your computer, currently 16ms response times are the "standard" for what is acceptable. Faster would of course be better, but from what I've seen/heard 16ms is pretty good. \Dan

XP Pro: To PageFile or not?

Probably the only thing that may improve pagefile performance is setting it to have the same minimum and maximum size, to prevent Windows XP from dynamically changeing the size. So long as you make it big enough. As a general rule, leave the pagefile alone. \Dan

I don't think that there are any Norton products that are multi-CPU aware. The only way it may help is allowing two processes to use the CPU simultaneously. I doubt there will be a significant (if any) difference, as defrag is also limeted by the hard drive speed. \Dan

Formating HDD with XP pro on them
