I'm looking at the picture of the pots but I'm a little confused. The 12v and 5v are both adjusted under one pot? What are the other two pots for then?
Thanx
For those of you guys that's currently using Grisoft's AVG take a look at this link and consider switching to another antivirus. 1 Pass and 18 fails people!
I'd like to know this as well. In fact, I'm more interested in whether I can change the multipliers with this board+cpu combo. I have seen that the KT400 and Nforce2 generation chipset based boards can change the multiplers fine on a Tbred cpu since it's multipliers are unlocked. However I...
I think that's exactly what it is. The individual ratings for each of those rails lists the max possible amount it can output. It just doesn't mean that the PSU can output the max amount for each rail all at the sametime. That's why you look at the TCO of the PSU which will give a more...
There should be some kind of setting under the PPPoE you use for logging in. Just look for redial if line is dropped and make sure that's checked. And also make sure that the option to disconnect after certain number of idle minutes have past is unchecked.
I also like to give my feedback on this PSU. I'm currently using the same 420watt turbolink PSU they're describing here that came with the chieftec case that was on sale for $55 quite a while ago. Here's the specs on the system it's powering:
Athlon XP1800+ @ 11.5*138 (1600)
Abit KX7-333r w/...
Wasn't there an issue with the ATI 9500/9700 family of cards in oc'ing? According to this article from hardocp the oc'ing features are somehow locked in and even if you try to clock it higher it'll just reset itself to the default afterwards.
If you're looking to save a trip to BB then you buy the keyboard first and then goto the fiancing counter with receipt in hand. Then tell them to pricematch it but keep the rebate form and rebate receipt hidden.
I think the problem ViperV990 is describing sounds very similar to the one I last posted on this thread and I have to agree with him. After the texture on my ratpad wore out I notice a lot of gliding resistance as well. In particular the areas of the pad that get wore out the most happen to be...
Hey I was thinking about that idea and perhaps we might be able to do something like that for this deal? Have one person do a bulk order of them and then for those of us that want one just buy it from that one person and they can ship it using standard postage. It should come out cheaper at the...
You can do that?! What about the logging in with user name and password? How's that handled if you just use LAN? Right now I'm just using RASPPOE instead since it seems to be a bit more effecient than that silly software verizon gives me and it takes up almost no space at all. The only time you...
yeah, what is up with that?? I'm pretty sure all of us includes the receipt with our submission when sending in the rebates. Are they blind or something? Me thinks they're lying. They claim you didn't send receipt even though you did include one in there. It's happened to me before and I just...
There must be at least three threads of of this deal going on, it's that hot :P unfortunately the deal just ended today so those of you that didn't get it this time better luck next time.
Yeah, like ScrapSilicon said, take a close look at the imprint of the ramchips. As mentioned in the other...
You might wanna take a look at that Panasonic 1703 cordless that staples has for about 30 bucks after coupon. There's a thread for that here, just do a search for it.
I got one on monday in one of the staples in Manhattan. They only had one left and it so happens to be infineon -6==2700 ddr :) Got the PM successfully for 37.xx w/ tax then I have the 20 MIR bringing it to down to 17.xx; Not a bad price. I also got another stick today at Compusa before the deal...
The first Staples in my area also had Spectar chips on the ram ending with -75A and it was the only one they had left too. So exactly how good are these compared to the ones mentioned uptop elixir, infineon, samsung etc. Which group would the Spectar chip belong in?
Thanx
You think the way CC's PM is annoying? I just got back from staples near my area and the store was about to close at 6, I got there at like 5:50. I had to wait around till like I was the last customer and finally I got them to PM to crapusa's price. After the transaction was already made and the...
Guys this deal doesn't start until 12/15 so the rebates and stuff probably isn't posted up yet. Try checking back on the sites once the deal starts. And yes I think this is B&M though you might be able to PM them by calling them up.
From what I heard CrapUSA puts their ads in Saturday's...
What?! 150 buckss?! That sucks! And here I am thinking that being a member there would yield some nice discounts on the stuff bought there. Now I don't see the point to it; good thing I'm not the one paying the fee for that silly membership gag. Anyway, I'm gonna visit Costo tomorrow and check...
Found this from another forum elsewhere. Haven't seen this posted up yet
so though I'd post it:
Starting 12/15/02 - 12/21/02

CompUSA
PNY 256MB PC2100 DDR DIMM 184 Pin Memory Module
Mfg Part #: D256M6421OPT, Product Number: 289575

yes that's basically the idea but there is something more you need to do on an XP processor. There are actually gaps between the L1 bridges that need filling in before actually closing the L1 bridges. What you need to do is fill those gaps in with some non-conductive substance so that when the...
You got to be kidding me. *sigh* looks like buy.com isn't so good anymore.
I direct you to the post I made earlier on this thread:
As you can see, there is a chance of this rebate working even though the purchase wasn't made in buy.com
