I'm trying to install Red Alert on a computer running Windows 2000. It comes up with a message saying that it requires Win95 to install. Does anyone have any patches or something that will allow Red Alert to install on Win2k computer? Thanks!
Yep, I've got the latest firmware running also. The only difference I can tell is that the 1st computer has a 10mbit NIC and the 2nd ("bad" connection) has a 10/100 NIC. But that doesn't explain why it works fine when directly plugged into the cable modem and not the router.
I have tried all the ports on the router and they all have the same result... intermittent connection.
I don't think it's the cable either, because if i connect the same cable from the router directly to the cable modem it works fine.
I checked the router settings and there are no filters on...
