Do i need a new router?

So... I got my Samsung BD-P 3600 hooked up, and tried streaming Netflix last night. Had no problems until my wife and I both had our phones connected to the WiFi. Router dropped the connection 3 times before we figured it out. It's a Netgear g router, and probably about 5 years old...

Sempron/Asrock combo... good deal?

No Frys love for me, but a Microcenter is opening up in Yonkers, NY soon, which will be close enough for me to get to. It's funny I've heard bad things about Asrock boards, but most of the reviews on Newegg for this particular board are very positive.

So I'm a little confused... you say "yeah" and. Then bring up points against the NVIDIA chipset. Sounds like I should wait for another deal - maybe an AND chipset, on an Intel combo.

I think it's a good idea for all of those old school mixes that you want to put on CD, but do not have all of the "original artist" CDs. Also, could be usedful for old live concert digitizing - but not sure of the quality of the tape heads and such. Serves it's purpose well in my opnion.
