    Is there supposed to be an extended version of LOTR:Return of the King coming out?

    Yeah, last I knew they were still working on it and I think it adds over an hour of new scenes, if you can believe it. That'll make watching the trilogy around a 14 hour experience. Last I heard, maybe christmas-ish the extended will be out, but nothing has been set in stone.

    Well, see if you can try the drive in another system. If that's not possible, I would just return the thing and get a new one. If your system is still weird, maybe it's your power supply (assuming you just added the drive and didn't swap it out for another one)...? Not too sure about it being...

    Make sure that the motherboard isn't touching drive cages or anything like that...I'm not sure if I'm understanding your symptom correctly, but if your computer turns on for a second or two and then shuts off it's usually a short caused by the motherboard touching something it's not supposed to...

    Check your hosts files for weird entries, and run the qhosts removal tool and remove the evil entries if your hosts files have weird entries. If you don't know what I mean by this, let me know and I'll be more descriptive in another post.

    Yeah, I've always been a fan of non on-board sound considering things like my Live! let me have multiple audio streams at once, take pressure of the CPU better than on-board (I believe), etc. This sounds pretty good, especially for a linux box as someone said before.
