Played a game yesterday.. silencer, lion, shaman all on the same team with a decent lifestealer and PA.. Good god.. it's like 5 + sheepsticks. They could gank/dive on anyone and know they were silenced/disabled for 8-10 seconds combined.. STUN, HEX, HEX, shackle, silence, whatever the hell...

Well, I guess it'd be hard to have the game actually try to tell if they are speaking English or Portuguese... So, they click what they want. The fact they were awful can happen regardless though.

Yeah.. I queue normal on my own and it was.. easy. I queue high with my friends and it's way better players (also more fun).

Someone should do this... I don't have the time to really manage much but would like to play with a group on occasion. I've got friends that normally make a team of 3.. We're all in the 400-600 win area, don't know how it'll jive with others.

There are definitely zealots.. Using nvidia blob drivers to some people is the equivalent of stealing candy from baby jesus... Most have no problem with it however. I pay attention when buying machines due to hardware issues that crop up (wlan... especially.. intel hardware makes life...

I can't guarantee it would have been flawless -- but I wouldn't have started out with Arch... Mint, ubuntu, stock debian... any of those may have been a bit easier to get going with.

Exactly.. A black SS would be nice about now.. But we are just paying off a 10k used car and getting out of debt as much as possible.. The student loans are like.. 3 years at the least to pay off.. Blech.

WPA2 AP's for > 25 users?

Hello all, I'm in the midst of getting ready to place a few AP's in a small building to cover for a 24 piece roaming laptop cart... I can get the coverage I need out of 3 or 4 AP's (I need to do some testing, thanks Droid/Wifi Analyzer) but my main concern is getting AP's that can handle...

What cheap handgun would you recommend?

.. For women? I love my buckmark, amazing little pistol. Could be used for protection, just feed it velocitors or something.. 22's aren't ideal for that, but are MUCH more economical to shoot and get competent/confident with.. If semi-auto: 9mm/smaller. The slides for most women are a pain...

USB Flash drive price increase?

Wow, I bought 20 or so Crucial 4GB Flash drives during the summer for $~8 each. Now they are at $14?? Anyone have some insight to this? I want to get some real cheap for students to buy at cost since there aren't many stores around with them available, but it's hard to choke down...

Going to Vegas for the 1st time ever

Lies. It was easy to get around in Vegas. And i'm from the a midwest rural town of 1200. We rented a camaro while we were there, so maybe I just WANTED to drive around more... Parking was easy, just park at nyny or MGM's garage and you can get to everything. I just got back 2 weeks...

Well, I enabled the multi-cpu as well as turned it back to dxlevel 90. Everything is on low except textures, and the thing still will lag when say firing the rpg to under 20 fps, pretty much makes my shotgun useless. I'll play around with it some more tonight. May have to go back to dx 81...

I'll double check the MultiCPU settings when I get home at lunch. See if the stress tests run any better. I may have to go with that 9600GSO, it'll hold me out til after christmas (probably new computer time) and will be a decent upgrade for my wifes machine at that point too.

I'll check it when I get home.. I know it's 1440x900? or whatever the horiz res is. I knocked it down to dx81 and have AA off, and low/medium on all shadow/detail settings. In open spaces it drops to 20 something with people around. In closed spaces it's 35-40 with SOME action nearby...
