When I use the DVD drive (Lite-On DVD ROM) in my system I get a high pitch sound coming out of my Z-640 speakers - as the drive speed increases so does the pitch of the sound. Any suggestions?
Right now I am showing CPU @ 29C - Sys Bus @145MHz - CPU Fan @ 2250 - Sys Fan @ 1140 and Power Fan @ 1493 - VCore A @ 1.53 - Speed of CPU 2.898MHz.
How does this sound.
I just set my first system up and everyting seems to be running smooth and stable. I was in the Easy Tune program that came with my Gigabyte 8PE667 Ultra2 mobo and saw a warning - flashing in green "CPU fan 1150 rpm" then "CPU fan 2000 rpm" changing every couple of seconds.
