Yesterday I updated BIOS to version 16.
Now I can't get into BIOS. Posts fine but when i hit delete I get black screen with a cursor blinking in a top left corner.
During post I get 2 different error messages:
1. CPU is...
You may get video corruption if your memory is overclocked too high. Leave FSB the same and set memory ration to 5:4 see if it fixes the problem. If it does but you still want to run at 1:1 losen up timings - see if that helps.

Fixed them problem that system hangs if
- DRAM ratio is set to 5:4 or 3:2
- DRAM timing by SPD
- N/B strap CPU as FSB800
BIOS compile date...
Then next version of windows would be written specifically to utilize properties of AMD cpu's and MS would end up going to court again for antitrust thingy.

On the first screen of this program it will tell you all info about your cpu.
Dude, one thing left for you to hook it up to constant fresh water supply and drill smal holes in the pipe to sprinkle your backyard. :P

Thank you Buddha. That was exactly the point I was trying to make. What pissed me off the most is there were CAL matches yesterday, and exactly yesterday steam had to have a problem that caused all matches to be postponed which is a great hassle.
This is the worst piece of software and idea in general ever written. Forcing milllons of players use it and not test each release thoroughtly. The most unprofessional approach I have ever seen in my entire life. Just think about it, because of one bad release many teams lost points on different...
Fixed it. Here are the steps.
Boot into safe mode, uninstall videocard all drivers and run ati and nvidia clean utilities.
Reboot, install drivers - good to go.
I have Abit IC7-G, Bios 17, Catalyst 3.8. Bios has 8x AGP enabled. In windows when I go to video settings/smartgart it shows 4x AGP and Fastwrites OFF.
Please help.

Paste should be applied the following way:
On the cpu put a litel tiny drop and spread it as thin as you possibly can with a finger in plastic bag, I am talking paper thin - the thinner you can make it the better it is.
On heatsink you have to put some paste then spread it then wipe it off...
