ATI Delays Cat 3.3

Omega Driver enables smooth vision 2.1 just so you know =D. Also increased by 3dmark03 score by 300 =D 4200 to 4550. It also fixed instability problems with various games. Great driver overall and adapter string = 9800 =D

w00t - just got my 9500 Pro!

Funny 9500 Pro stock not much faster than Ti200 and its not even a Ti500. I'm wondering what Kind of game you are playing. Perhaps Chessmaster? I mean based on what you said a Ti500 will be faster than a stock 9500 Pro which is obviously not. Return it alright, you will come to regret it...

Soft9700 confusion - A case study

Hey I believe it cannot be done by the Black PCB that's why it is not selling as expensive and popular as the "L" shaped 9500 Pro and other 9500 Pros. After all I believed that ATi had eliminated this "problem" to them, in the newer revision, the Black PCB.

Poll: Do you currently suffer from Scrolling, Flickering Horizontal lines (especially with Radeon 9xxx)

Sounds like some setting is not set correctly, after I set my monitor property and display property to match they flickering went away. Don't blame the card maybe there something to be done on you, the consumers', part.

Overclocking 9500Pro

Just wanna point out one thing with 3.0 and 2.85 RAM. While the 2.85 samsung is only on pros 3.0 is not bad either. The factory recommend clock for ram is extremely conservative and I would imagine overclocking it 20% won't be problem.

Overclocking 9500Pro

By the way as far as I know, the idea of 9500 --> 9700 Pro is in fact by overclocking to 9700 Pro speed which is a core clock of 325. So, a 9500 Pro should be overclocked to 325 no problem. However, a 3.3 rating as to a 3.0 rating infineon might affects its overclocking ability.

It is possible that you flashed the wrong BIOS for your 9500 Pro. As there are different types of BIOS for different memory manufacturer and ratings. As far as I know the Infineons has a 3.3 and 3.0 rating. Flashing the wrong BIOS can cause this problem. Also the higher clocked 9500 Pro may...

I think I'm addicted...

It takes me about .25 seconds to type www.anandtech.com and takes my cable about .75 seconds to open up the page. Moving from the page to the forum button takes about .50 seconds and clicking today is another .50 seconds. It takes me a total of 2 seconds to get going everytime IE is opened.
