I Cross-posted this to general hardware so please respond there. I figured that it involves networking so maybe someone here will have some insight as well =).

Can you poll the full desktop of the remote computer?
What I'm trying to do is figrue out a system to play a DVD in a computer in another room and have it show up on my TV (via another computer on 100BT ethernet).
Any suggestions?
I remember reading back in the hot deals forum that people were somehow putting together 2.1 systems to make X.1 systems How were you all doing this?
I'm really confused. Especially since the satellites on the 340 don't run on miniplug or RCA and instead on some wacky composite cable.

KFC changed it's name as...
I really can't figure out what's going on and was wondering if any of you could maybe shed some light on it.
I'm running a PII 400 / 256 on a Intel SE440BX (not bx2).
In there I've got two video cards (agp g200 + pci banshee), a scsi card (adaptec 2940), modem (USR/3com 56k), network card...
