I would say that PSU would be lacking for that card.
If you can afford a new card, surely you can afford a minor PSU upgrade, why risk potentially damaging your components with subpar power?
Perhaps you didn't pick the best analogy. Maybe CRTs have slightly better color in that black looks black and not charcoal like on an LCD but other than that I think LCDs colors are more vivid. Not only that but they have a crisper brighter image image thats easier on the eyes, use less power...

I was under the impression that the $30 rebate was for Staples and the two $20 rebates were for Maxtor. I was going to send the original UPC to one of the $20 Maxtor ones (I highly doubt it will work for both since its basically the same rebate) and then the copy of the UPC to the $30 Staples...
My $30 rebate says you must include the original UPC. Personally I think getting a 60 gig 7200RPM hard drive for 40 bucks and change is one heck of a deal in itself and I'm happy with that.
