Just went to the KMart on Winchester in Memphis TN. Jewlery is 80 to 90% off; Electronics is mostly empty; Still have PS2\Xbox Games 25% off; Does look like they marked the items up to MSRP then took the reductions. YMMV

How do I tell the difference between an ATA 33 and an AT 100 ribbon cable??

Thanks for the help.It was the cable.I replaced it with a known good AT100 cable and it booted.

How do I tell the difference between an ATA 33 and an AT 100 ribbon cable??

I just bought an WD ATA 100 to replace my ATA 33 drive. The motherboard won't recognize the drive, so I am thinking that it is the cable. I am using an Epox 8KHA+ MB so that shouldn't be the problem. Thanks S
