If the problem is only in BF2 perhaps its not the card or the fact its made by XFX. You're calling it a POS but it appears that your problem is related to a single game. Maybe you have another thread discussing your problem, but I haven't searched for it.

It was just great to see a nice new 7800GT in a box when I received my return package. I wasn't sure what to expect with the 7800GT pretty much out of production at the moment. I was hoping for a 7900XX series but luckily they just gave me a later revision of the same 7800GT model I had before...
