I tried scanning it the other day at work and it said merchandise did not qualify for reduction. Also a memo has been sent out from corporate about this coupon and managers are not supposed to accept the coupon. Just letting y'all know this is very much a YMMV deal at this point.

My Q6700 bundle shipped the same day I ordered it... Which was yesterday. Shop Intel online was having problems so they took the order over the phone. It should be arriving on Tuesday via UPS 3 Day.

SATA Hard drive format problem

I had a problem with Windows XP SP2 and that drive. The system installed fine with a Win XP Pro SP1 cd, but the SP2 cd would lock up / restart. Is your mobo a Gigabyte Intel mobo by any chance? If you installed SP2 on the machine, even after Windows was installed and running fine, it would lock...

Blank CDs....

I have always had good experience with Taiyo Yuden CDs/DVDs. I recently got a bunch on Maxell branded Taiyo Yudens (make sure they say Made in Japan on side) at Sams Club. Very nice discs.

MAXTOR can go to hell !!!! UPDATED

My personal experience. Western Digital IDE (3 Drives) = 1 DOA and 2 Dead within 3 Years of use Maxtor IDE (3 Drives) = One dates back as far as 5 years, still working beautifully. Same as day 1. The other 2 are 3 Years old, and 2 Years old.

YMMV, I just got back from Sams Club in Rochester, NY where they had 75 packs of Maxell Music CD-Rs for $16.33 a pop. Noticing the made in Japan on the side, I grabbed a couple of spindles and sure enough they were Taiyo Yudens. Not bad. 22 cents a disc for 32X Taiyo Yuden Music CD-Rs...

100pk Taiyo Yuden DVD-R $24

My buddy and I got 600 4X-R TY from Meritline. They came (ever so slowly, UPS was a nightmare) and seem to work well. I can't overburn with my Lite-On 16X burner past 6X though. I tried burning some data at 8X and it crapped out. Coaster. Oh well, if you burn at 4X, it burns MINT.

Sporadic Video Card Issue...

There is no aux power plug on the video card. I checked the event viewer, it had logged nothing. Idk whats up with that. On a side note, I upgraded to the latest Forceware drivers, and I haven't had it lock up yet, but I haven't had a lot of time to use the computer recently.

Sporadic Video Card Issue...

I just built a new rig about 3 weeks ago - see my sig for specs. I am getting some random errors. Upon exiting some games, I will get a blue screen that pops up so quickly I can't read more than the first few words. One time it had Halt in it, and another time I want to say IRQ Stop or something...

cant play a dvd in PC dvd rom drive

try updating the chipset drivers for your motherboard. I have a nforce2 based mobo that had the same basic problem. The latest chipset drivers from nvidia.com fixed the problem.
