Possibly. But what has that to do with this deal? ;) People should know what they're getting. Unfortunately Google make it harder than they need to. Incidentally, I have this edition of the Nexus and an iPad 2 (3.5 years old), and they both work great.

Do I HAVE to unlock iPhone 3G to use without data?

Recommend a good deal on a decent LCD 46" TV?

Thanks for the recommendations. Found a Sony KDL-46EX400 marked down at a B&M Walmart today for $488 plus tax. It's only 60Hz, but it will do fine. Merry Christmas to me.

You are right about avoiding the ballistix. I purchased 8GB of those about four years ago. I've RMA'd all of it at least twice, and the HTPC I currently have it installed in is once again giving me lockups due to memory errors. At the point it's almost not even worth going through the RMA...

Unfortunately I'm old enough to remember begging for $200 to buy the 256 KB add-on memory module for the Amiga 1000. This inflation-adjusts to about $410 today. At that price-per-KB, our 8GB would be over $12 million.
