Replacing fan in 9800 with heatsink?

added info to OP, can someone help me out... is the Zalman sans any fans enough to cool a non-OCed 9800 NP? Also, is the Zalman with the Zalman fan, but sans stock fan, enough to cool a 9800 NP flashed to 9800 Pro? Thanks all.

I'm thinking about getting a Dell 4600 w/ a Radeon 9800 (non-pro) to pull the graphics and replace it with some POS to resell :) Here's my question: Will a ZM80A-HP WITHOUT the extra fan be enough to cool this card if I don't plan to OC it (after pulling the stock fan that is)? Rig: Antec...

I'm the admin on my DLink wireless router. How do I spy on what others on the network are doing with having VNC running in the background. (Esp. on the laptops hooked up). Thanks!

Help a newbie setting up a WAN

hey guys, got a newbie question here (again!). so I hooked up my Dlink DI-614+ to my Dlink DCM-100 Cable modem, and connected my computer to it through port 1 (the router has 4 ports). So I have several complicated questions: Key: Level 1 - internet access only Level 2 - access to some files...

When I got my Dell 8250 (512 RDRAM, DVD-ROM), I took the two hard drives out of my P4 1.6 Dell, along with my burner, and stuck them into the new computer (and just let it boot up and readjust, and then just installed the Intel NIC driver, everything else worked fine). However, I can clearly...

Question bout that new dell 8250

I swapped HD's when i got my 8250, from my old 4400. and I installed a cdrw. so my question is, when there's a cdrw (tdk velocd if it matters) and a dell (lite-on i think) dvd, which one's master and which is slave... any help greatly appreciated.

1350 is sorta overkill, depends on weight... on the other hand, that screen makes this imho decent

Help a hardware newbie - Overclocking the 8250

Got and am currently setting up my Dell 8250 (with 512 RDRAM). Can someone direct me to a place that explains overclocking from literally how to deal with the heatsink? Basically, want to learn how to overclock the processor... without buying new equipment. Also would like to know how to...

circuit city 5 hour sale

Bought 120GB drive for 200 - 110. Anyone have ideas as to what CC in the Bay Area would do a pricematch? Thanks. Oh, and cc in concord still has them in stock, but the manager there's a jackass, so buy there, pricematch elsewhere.

got the last one at staples in pleasant hill, bay area... don't know what everyone was complaining about: I called, reserved it, went straight to the SD, asked her if the rebate was valid, she said yes and I bought it, got the rebate receipt and all, and no having to "sidestep" anyone. staples...
