It's a XFX 4850 that didn't come with the adapter to begin with. I understand the card still has the onboard sound even though it didn't come with any means of using it.

Does anyone have any 144-pin PC100 SoDimms laying around they don't need? I am refurbing an old P3 laptop for donation and the best I could do with what I have is 2x64MB sticks. Anything larger than that would be much appreciated and help give this old girl a little more useful life.

Anybody have a 60gb Sata HDD for the PS3? Seagate was the original brand, if it matters any (might, might not, but beggars can't be choosers). I can just borrow it actually, but the thing is I need to send my PS3 into Sony with it, so I'll have to throw it in there, send it, then get it (or another back).

If anyone has one, I'd greatly appreciate it.

As for giving, if anything wants stuff in my FS thread in that bottom list, feel free to send me a PM. I just put it for sale just because. Have a bunch of old cables and stuff laying around too.

I also have a (dead I think) 1gb stick of Samsung SODIMM PC2100 (I believe). Gone!

Well, I cannot really say this with confidence, but if possible, you probably can send in your PS3 with any size of hard drive, since they do allow you to upgrade your hard drive when you wants to. But again, I am not 100% sure.

I sort of asked them about this, and got a very muddled response. A friend has a 40gb he said I could have, but I'm not sure how they do it. Currently I have a 320gb, and I don NOT want to send that in. Plus, I want to get the data off it somehow.

Well, maybe you should use your friend's hard drive and give it a try. I am unsure how they do this. A friend of mine did send his in before couple years ago, but he send it in with original drive, I think, since to my knowledge, he did not have/upgrade his hard drive until last year.

As for getting the data off, it might be better if you use their backup utility to backup the whole drive before. Because if the system they send back is not the same one that you send in, the data on your hard drive would not get recognize by the system and you still need to format the drive. If you use backup utility to backup then restore afterward, most of your things should still be there, except the installed game content, from disc and download, and downloaded DRM video and music. But your saves and things that you put on there yourself should be there too.

Can't backup the system when you can't even turn it on.
The PS3 also uses a proprietary IBM format, so it's going to be probably literally impossible for myself to get it off. I'm going to try cloning it with some distro of Linux if I can, but we'll see what happens.

Motion Computing M1400 Tablet - NO HARD DRIVE

I have rebuilt this tablet twice before for a friend. It crashed again and all he wanted was his data recovered. Told me to toss it as far as I could chuck it.

I was able to install Windows XP Pro and play with it. Everything seems to work fine. I then tried to install Windows XP Tablet and it would not install.

Enough time spent playing with it. I pulled the drive to keep as a spare.

Comes with the power cord. Battery holds a charge.

I just do not have a need for it.

Let me know your zip and I'll get you a shipping cost. If it fits in a Priority Flat Rate box, that is my first choice, otherwise UPS.

As usual, pay just the shipping charges (PayPal preferred):

Seagate 120GB 7200.9 IDE Drive (ST3120814A)

- BIOS recognizes drive but I can't get it to format
- May still be under warranty (having trouble searching for the SN on Seagate.com), but not worth the effort for me
- SN: 3LS0G2TN Date Code: 06165
- Might work when you get it, or you might be able to RMA it with Seagate

Microsoft Wireless Mouse Blue
- Mouse w/wired mouse-sized transceiver
- Worked on one PC, not on another, I don't want to bother with it

Looking for a Memory Stick Pro Duo card. Does NOT have to be working. Saw a tip to use it as a shim for fixing an old Thinkpad problem with the graphics card. So, just something you'd probably toss because it's old or memory is too small for use today. Thanks!

Looking for a bunch of ESD bags so I can ship my computer home. In particular, I need one motherboard-sized ESD bag. I'd also like at least a couple hard-drive sized ESD bags, but those aren't as critical. Thanks!

"Generic 512MB DDR1 RAM (266/333, one stick pls)"

I have 2 sticks of an unknown to me brands.

One is a 512mb DDR266 with a CYBERMEDIA sticker on it. The chips have V1O (or VIO) on it.

The other is a MemoryPRO value 512mb DDR266 PC2100 with ADVANCE MODULES chips. The chip sticker has a number on it - AM512D16A16C-N-PC3200 with a smaller sticker on top of that which says DDR266 512mb. I don't think it's a DDR400 stick, so why the 3200 in the main chip sticker?

I had them both in with other sticks running a XP1900+, and tested them individually with memtest.
The Cybermedia's chips look more like what we normally see.
The MemoryPro chips are more like smaller squares than the usual rectangular type.
Never seen either before - googling didn't get me much help. I just left these two as the last sticks if I actually needed them.
I had a pile of parts that I reassembled to get 3 working computers running from them.

The othr sticks (crucial, samsung etc) are in rigs now, and I need one backup stick yet, maybe.
So one of these can go for sure. Take your choice. If it don't work, you can swap for the other. OR, you can wait till both reach you, and send the one you don't want back with a couple of your items in your list....

-------MSI Geforce2 MX-400 AGP vid card (fanless)
-------4.3 GB PATA hard drive ATA66 (Quantum) - if that is a 7000rpm model.
I need an extra 7000 thats small and clean to use as a swap drive.
If it's 5400, then it's not good for that, I think. All my OS drives are 7000's ATA100 or 133's.

I can take a pic of these sticks and send it to you if you want.

EDIT:
Big DOH for me!
Seems there are no 4g 7k pata drives.
There are SCSI drives of 7K that small.
Have to start with 9.1 or 10.2 drives, though I could swear I had an 8G drive that was 7k.

Question now would be, would a 5400 dedicated drive for the swap of a 7200 rpm OS drive be better than having the swap on it's own partition on the same OS drive?
Of course the 5400 drive would be on the secondary primary connector.
Hmmmm.

I know it is a long shot...but if anybody has any spare car audio lying around, I'd be glad to take it off their hands. I've got an old tape deck from 1997 or so in my Jeep and probably the same speakers that have been installed since '84.

Still looking for:
two 512mb sticks of DDR1 RAM. I wouldn't mind paying around $10 for them but since it's such old tech I feel like any more and I could just put the money to a new system.
I have a bunch of random things/old old tech so I'll be looking out for people asking for stuff...

*found, thanks!*
