Am looking for one of those bases for the Wii stand (not the thing the Wii sits in, but the round plastic bases that holds the Wii and stand). From what I understand newer Wii consoles come with this, but mine is a pretty early unit so it didn't. Is kind of wobbly on the carpet so this would be nice.

If anybody has an extra or knows where I can get one cheap let me know. Thanks!

Putting a cheap system together from my spare parts for a lady friend recently finding herself out on her own unexpectedly. It'll be primarily for school use while she works on her GED, but also general entertainment like The Sims.

* 256MB+ PC100/133 RAM (willing to trade equivalent <= 128MB sticks and/or cash since these are hard to come by...)
* IDE HDD (preferably 40GB+, but a 20 would probably suffice - needs to hold WinXP plus the typical apps and maybe a couple games, nothing huge)

Hello All


To give for cost of shipping:

1. Yepp YP-Z32 Older model with parrallel cable - I got this from the freebies a few months ago but just don't have time - never even tried it. I think the OP said the card slot may be flakey. Again i never even gave it a try.

2. "Tech Gear" portable fm radio - Kids toy, I think but never used.

3. Static bags - 3"x5" slightly used a couple of handfuls- May have stickers on them

4. DirectTV Receiver model DRD420RE - I don't know if this works and can't test. It has smartcard

5. Dell LX4100D Laptop - Has broken LCD. Appears to be running win 95. NO power adapter so I couldn't run it for long.

I just disassembled a Dell Inspiron 7000 and have lots of parts left. Note there is a lot of mechanical commonality with Inspiron 7500.

The machine itself worked (P2, took PC66 SDRAM), but the LCD display was mostly garbled (almost worked with brightness turned way down), external display worked.

I have most of the plastics (minus the display card cover, and one of the bottom corners is cracked, and the lid latches are broken), HDD caddy, empty battery plastics, motherboard and other electronic boards, touchpad, speakers, heatsink&fan, video card, many many screws No RAM, no CPU, not HDD, no floppy, no optical drive, no power supply.

If you want it, pay shipping + $2 for gas and packaging.
