Wow, it's been a looong time since I've popped in here, and it's nice to see the freebies flyin'

Free, just pay shipping - I'm figuring $10/shipped for the motherboards (w/cpu if you like) and $5 for the rest, USPS Priority.

AMD K6-2/500 w/HSF
Asus P5A SS7 motherboard

Intel Celeron 733mhz w/heatsink
MSI MS6188 S370 motherboard, w/int. graphics

IBM 2GB 2.5" Laptop HDD

These were working when pulled last year, but not tested since. Stuff was well-stored, so should be good.

Regarding the USB cables, pcmicrostore.com always has these for under $2 shipped each, which is not much more than what you'd have to pay for a freebie but without the waiting to find one. I've dealt with them several times, no complaints.

Hope that helps you, as well as any others looking for usb cables

This is my first time visiting this thread, don't frequent the fs/ft forum!

Available for cost of shipping(and heatware):
Please be an active "freebier" with items offered.
  • Amped 3 for XBOX 360. Great condition, I just don't like the game and hate getting reemed for trade-in credit at EB. (how much would shipping be? Haven't shipped much before ) Going to MrLuckyPants
  • Mac Powerbook Duo, and full dock. Works. I think it's a 280c but I will make sure when I have time. This is a sub-portable, and you basically need the dock to connect anything to it. The laptop only has Keyboard/Mouse(ADB) port and a modem port on it, need dock for ethernet, external video, etc. The duo actually goes inside the dock, like a tape into a VCR so you NEED to use an external monitor and keyboard/mouse while using dock. Dock has floppy drive and bay for a scsi hdd. I believe it also as an external scsi connector. You can probably still find mini-docks on ebay for ethernet connection without using the full dock. The dock is heavy, so I will need your zipcode to find out actual shipping cost before you paypal me.

Either will take me up to a week to ship.

I'll offer up some other various items, but I'm in the process of moving right now so I don't have much time.

Looking for:
  • socket 370 compatible hsf found mine, don't need one now. thanks anyways guys!
  • half height 10/100 NIC
  • working battery for motorola v325 cell phone
  • 128mb or larger sticks of pc133
  • 256mb or larger stick of ddr 333/pc2700

Please PM me.

"Okay, I'm trying to fix a vido card so i can have tv out..

I got both...BUT....

The caps (I got 11) are on a Soyo SY-6BA+100 (slot 1) mobo that died in a brownout that let thru around 10% power. Don't know what's bad on the mobo, but I doubt the caps would get bad from "lack" of voltage. I was going to offer it up to any braniacs that think they know what to fix on it, as I have decided not to try myself anymore.
I could send a couple of the caps.

As for the 40mm fan, I got a very weak radio shack model, and one I know was dying (getting noisy). Also a 3rd I can't remember what I pulled it from. I think the 3rd is bad too. Those are 40x40x10 kind.

Anyone know how to test caps with a volt meter ?
Or another method?

This is a great idea for a thread, I have a few pieces of hardware I'd like to get rid of. If this works out I may do some others as well.

I'll let these go for shipping and heat.
I have a Thermaltake Super Orb for socket 462
An unknown square stock looking CPU heatsink w/ thermaltake fan, likely to be for AMD around the time of socket 462.
Some rounded cables (at least a few IDE, possibly a floppy or 50 pin SCSI, not sure, I'd have to check).
A bunch of normal IDE ribbon cables, both 40 wire and 80 wire (40 wire are often good for CD drives) (limit of 2 or 3 per person please).

Please PM, and if no reply in a couple days, send me an email at ATFR.spctchz@xoxy.net
