Crazy as it may sound, I need two or three 1 gig or less ide drives. They are for an old miltary computer I am trying to refurb. It has an old 486 board in it and will not use any thing larger than a 1 gig. Somebody please help me out here.

I'd like a mATX board that supports some of the oldest AMD CPU's possible, prolly durons or athlon xps and hopefully DDR 400.

EDIT: ok, then an mATX board that supports AMD CPU's that run anywhere from 500 mhz to 1 ghz (I'm guess most of these, if not all, are socket A platform) It must have an AGP slot and must support at least DDR200. This will go towards a crap rig dedicated to DOS gaming =)

I'm giving my old computer to a needy 5th grade student and the old HD is on it's last leg. I just want a 10GB or so HD so the student will have room for Windows XP and word processing. 500mhz to 1ghz is mostly SLOT A, as the Athlon's began a switchover to SOCKET A around 1ghz

Reread it, I said the Athlon's switched over at around 1ghz if I remembered right.
