Gone Seagate STT6201U 20GB Travan external USB tape drive. I have no tapes.

Gone D-link DI-614+ 802.11b+ (22 Mbps) router, antennae missing. Works wired, may work if you added antennae.

Pay shipping + $2 for gas and packaging.

This is for the IT guys in the Seattle-Tacoma area:
I just finished a new church network. They do have a 12" deep rack.
They could use a rackmounted ethernet router.

Crazy as it may sound, I need two or three 1 gig or less ide drives. They are for an old miltary computer I am trying to refurb. It has an old 486 board in it and will not use any thing larger than a 1 gig. Somebody please help me out here.
Thanks,

Fin, did anybody hook you up? I will take a look, I think I have at least one.

Up for grabs:

2 non matching floor standing CD racks. I'm assuming they'll both hold 80 CD's, but i think they'll hold more. Shipping could be pricey because of the odd size. Actual shipping/packaging costs though.

2 VERY old complete IBM computers. These systems have no cards in them. Everything is on the motherboard. I'd rather not part these out. They both supposedly have Win95 and word 95 on it (no CD-roms came with these systems). I haven't booted these machines but will confirm it before shipping. Again, shipping could be pricey because they weigh a lot.

I acquired a NFS version of Visual Studio from this board and never got around to use it. I'll offer it back up to anyone who's interested.

Wants
Anyone have a working car CD player that they aren't using? It doesn't need to read CD-R's, but that would be nice.
Any non broken full size CD jewel cases (not the slim cases). I probably need 50 or so.
A nice set of earphones for an MP3 player

from my fs/ft thread:

FREE ITEMS (just pay shipping):

Cooler Master Socket A HSF

3.2 GB Seagate Medalist 3210 (ST33210A) IDE hard drive

Lian-Li RH-17 IDE mobile rack
Includes key, lock, and mobile rack in its retail package.

Toshiba 32X XM-6202B beige IDE CD drive

Corsair XMS DDR memory heatsink retention clip
This is the clip only, not the heatspreader itself.

Cabletron E2000 ISA network adapter card w/serial and cable network ports
I have no way to test this so this is being sold AS-IS.

Practical Peripherals 9600 (PM9600FXMT) v.32 data/fax minitower external modem
Includes the modem, vertical stands, ac adapter, and phone cable in its retail package.

3-feet (91.4cm) Radioshack cat5e ethernet cable

4-port data transfer switch
For connecting four (4) printers to one (1) computer. Includes a female-female parallel (LPT1) connector cable.

2-port printer switch
For connecting one (1) printer to two (2) computers.

LOOKING FOR (cost of shipping):

two (2) northbridge U-clips (preferably from an ASUS board)

one (1) e-SATA cable

one (1) socket 939 hsf
Doesn't have to be anything fancy. In fact, I would actually prefer the stock one that comes bundled with the retail processors.

one (1) DVD, DVD/CDRW Combo, or DVD-RW drive
Looking for reputable brands like Samsung, LiteOn, Pioneer, NEC, etc. Needs to be white in color.

Please take off my hands:

- Ringover box -- similar to Catch-A-Call, works great but on broadband now so don't need this -- keep in mind it requires call waiting
- 1.44MB floppy drive, no faceplate
- 80x25mm Adda fan -- from a power supply, was kind of noisy so I replaced it; maybe it just needs oil, but I didn't want to risk it, so swapped for a new fan; still works, would be good if noise and reliability aren't an issue.
- 40mm Cooler Master fan
- One of those CD-ROM audio cables
- Extendable air duct (looks to be either 60mm or 70mm)
- 2x USB -> PS2 adapter
- ATA133 flat IDE cable and some screws
- Actiontec external 56k modem -- hardware based, RS-232 interface, good for Linux installs that don't work with softmodems
- Actiontec external 56k modem -- same as above, but this one supports both RS-232 and USB interfaces
- 56k PCI softmodem w/low profile bracket
- Various connectors (molex male and female, 3-pin fan female, etc.)
- Crapload of RJ-45 patch cables, PM for info on lengths and availability
- Dead Maxtor HDD (DM+ 9, 60GB, ATA133). Not under warranty, so it can't be RMA'd, but might be useful for parts, especially the circuit board
- Various fubar'd CDs -- Here's the story on these: All are (as far as I know) damaged beyond repair, i.e. parts of label scratched off, deep scratch in the plastic protective layer, etc. I can't stand skips in my music, so I have no use for these. In most cases it is only a few songs that exhibit skips, and generally they aren't too noticable, although some are pretty bad. Might be useful for the digipackaging/album art, all of which is in good to excellent shape. Or maybe skipping CDs don't bother you? I just hate to throw them away when somebody may have a use for them.
Matisyahu - Live at Stubb's
Korn - Follow the Leader
CKY - Volume 1 (this actually isn't too bad, showed errors on one track in EAC but I couldn't hear any skipping or other problems w/the ripped file, dunno if it skips in a CD player didn't test), just CD no album art.

Looking for:

Nothing currently

For the monitors, I suggest you also hit up your local Craigslist so shipping doesn't kill you. I'm sure you can find someone to give up working CRTs for free. I've even been paid to take one.

Actually, what I would do is hit up the local recycle center. My recycle center has, at any given time, 10-20 perfectly fine CRTs just sitting around and a couple of LCDs (these are usually not working/damaged/small). But for getting CRTs its a great value.

This is kind of a stab in the dark, but I figured I might as well try. A buddy of mine has a dead Western Digital 80BB drive that died but has some critical data on it. Looking for a drive with a working controller that he can transplant the circuit board to revive the dead one.
