So Alky sees a crazy drunk/high driver and decides to do the exact same thing to "follow" him. Watches a guy get rammed off the road then gives him the middle finger and laughs as he drives by. Then he gets a women to do his job, since his fancy car and phone can't take voice commands to make calls. Continues to drive like a maniac in an attempt to beat a crazy drunk/high guy to Costco for the free samples. Then applauds himself when somebody else helps the guy that was run off the road, and somebody else calls the cops. Like the good guy he is, also claims the effort of his woman as his own.

I'm to lazy to actually read the rest of the thread, but I assume everybody is saying the same thing:

Thanks for saving the day Alky.

But wait a minute :hmm: He does have a fancy car/phone...now me thinks Alky is just saying he has a fiancee when he's really just talking about his car/phone.

You sneaky dog you! Thought you had us fooled eh? Admittedly if I had a car as nice as yours I'd give it a female name too

Me and the other person were the only two to report the accident, there were at least 20 others right there when it happened.

I'm not saying you aren't correct, but HOW would you know that only two people reported this accident? When you call it in, is it like calling the radio station when "lucky caller 17 wins.." "Hi, you're caller 11, try again!" After dispatch sends officers to the scene, do they update them every time someone calls? "Car #4758, we're up to 4 calls now." "Car #4758, we're up to 5 calls now."

I'm just curious how you know how many people reported the accident?

Turns out the guy was also a server at a place we like to eat called Howley's down here. I took the liberty to call the restaurant just to confirm the guy's story as I know in the restaurant biz calling in prior to a shift especially on a weekend is usually looked at as BS esp since the guy's Jeep didn't look like it was even hit unless you looked under the bumper.
You left the scene of the accident. So, again, how do you know if no one stopped, or went around the block to return to the accident and gave a report? It was nice of you to call though, not that the employee should have had any trouble verifying his claim.
What really pissed me off is the police did not do a sobriety check on this asshat and just followed him to his home (knowing he was DUI).
How do you know that the police knew that he was dui?

It's awesome that you were a good samaritan, and I truly wish more people would do that. But, you have so many extra details in this story - why would a samaritan even learn of these details? You're apparently one hell of a busy body or something.

Because when we got back to the scene which was only about 20mins later, the police had not arrived where the victim was. I realized I said it was a "red jeep" when actually it was a green one. Also i got the full vehicle type and it's plate number. When I called in, they said between me and one other caller we were the only two that reported it, but the information I had gave was what allowed them to make a positive ID on the vehicle. The other caller did not want to provide any details really and she was a bit 'sensational' with everything so I don't think they trusted her credibility.

I explained above. I had to get somewhere by 6pm. This was all around 5:30-5:45pm. I followed the guy as he was heading the same direction as I was. Once he went into the shopping area (Costco) I turned down I-95 (if you would like the logistics it's the Costco in Lantana FL). I ran my errand and I came back to the victim in case they needed anyone to verify anything. At this point, I found out the other witness, was actually behind me following him as well and waited at Costco double parked behind his vehicle (by the time she got there he was already out of the car).

How do you know that the police knew that he was dui?

It's awesome that you were a good samaritan, and I truly wish more people would do that. But, you have so many extra details in this story - which require the suspension of major parts of the story - you're either lying, or you're one hell of a nosy busy body.

The police should have know to at least test him. Even the other lady thought it was bullshit they just let him go as long as they were able to follow him home. He was driving erratically and behaving like it. Like who just rams a vehicle out of their way because they cannot pass and then is all over the road?

After the cops got his information, they agreed to just take him home. She had thought they were going to literally take him home...the told him to back his car out slowly and do not let them out of his sight. The guy got in his car and the officer followed behind him.

She did not know if they knew him or if he was special, she agreed that he was either drunk or on something.

I think that is all the relevant details.

Someone should gather up all of alkemyst's posts and make a sit-com out of them.

I'd shoot it with the camera angle being as if the viewer were on their knees and/or looking over their backs bent over.

If you do not know the difference between red and green I doubt I'd personally trust anything else you said after that.

That and everything you just posted above.

Kiss and Def Leopard, OMG he he.

This is like a bad sit com.
