I think the concept of god is the worst thing to happen to the more enlightened people in the world. Religion would be nice if it was a set of moral guidelines that wasn't considered quite so divine and sacred.

I'm not saying believing in religion is stupid, but it takes a pretty limited world view to take the concept of god seriously.

lol how can you take into account this world and everything in it and say that the concept of God is the worst thing?

To me the thinking that all of this incredible earth is a cosmic coincidence is the worst thing to happen to man. If you can go to Colorado to the mountains or the beatiful cliffs in California and tell me thats not divine methinks you are crazy.

I think it takes a limited world view to not be able to ask yourself "Maybe" in terms of religion and/or God. If you can't ask "What if" then you are, by definition, limiting your view of the world.
Furthermore, I feel that people who dare to use the word "enlightened" are probably those that are anything but.

Just my personal opinion.
