The FBI has launched an investigation into a string of death threats lobbed against the Ukraine scandal whistleblower — including one disturbing email that claims the anonymous informant “should be shot," according to a person with direct knowledge of the matter.

The source told the Daily News on Wednesday that the threats have been sent to the legal team representing the still-anonymous CIA whistleblower, who first rang the alarm on President Trump’s infamous July 25 phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. The whistleblower’s complaint sparked the House impeachment inquiry.

Among the numerous threats, the ones alluding to executions and shootings have been the most alarming, according to the source.

“The whistleblower should be shot,” one email sent to the legal team says, according to the person.

“In Putin’s country, they would execute this person,” says another menacing message.

No, they will likely never come foreword and they weren’t an eyewitness anyway. Their identity and even the substance of the complaint is now irrelevant as it has been proven true through other public sources and even Trump’s own disclosures. We can pretend he or she never existed.

If the law works the way it should Trump and the public will never learn the identity of the whistleblower even after all of them are dead.

1) to attack them as unreliable partisans (which is irrelevant as their complaint has already been proven true so their motivations don’t matter)

2) to intimidate other people who might come forward.

If Trump really had his way, that's exactly what would happen. I recently watched a documentary on Adolph Hitler. It's as if Hitler's spirit has possessed Trump's body, with the stamp of approval of millions of Americans of whom through Trump, would be in favor of most of what Hitler did in his rampage through the annals of history.

The Repub Party is in the firm grip of an narcissistic egomaniac who does not have the capabilities needed to run a democratically represented style of gov't. Therefore, the only thing he IS capable of is running a dictatorship which does not require consensus, the ability to operate within the boundaries of a set of laws or having compassion and concern for the people he represents.
