Ohman… ignant fools gonna FAFO:

Jair Moly, 27, an African American man wearing a Maga cap, said: “You ain’t from here, don’t come here. You ain’t allowed here, don’t come here. Make America great again ’24. Let’s go!”

Asked why he intends to vote for Trump, Moly replied: “He’s real, he keeps it real. He’s not fake. There’s nothing fake about him. He keep it real and he pull no punches and that’s what we need, America, punch you right in the face.”

Everyone knows I do not support Trump. But what the guy from the Heritage foundation described is common sense reform.
So how will demolishing "the bureaucracy" actually make the federal government perform any better? Or do you just not want any regulation at all so companies can pollute the land, the air, and the sea, and have free reign to do whatever the hell they want otherwise?

The fact he lied about the 2020 election promoting the big lie is an instant disqualifier. Because he used mass voter fraud as a predicate for some of Project 2025. The guy is a liar

The answer to your other question as what’s wrong with this is the following

Democrats are not winning enough after absolutely nuking the Republican house majority in 2018 and obtaining a trifecta in 2020 by pushing an incumbent president out of power and winning four senate seats in AZ and GA is certainly a take.
Speaking of hot takes...
Manchin and Sinema.

Now tell the class why you know those names. What they did. Why / how they could do it.

And that is for mere majority control. There hasn't been any real Democrat control of government.... in my life time. Obama had the thinnest of margins to skirt past the Senate's filibuster until Kennedy got sick mere months into 2009. Then it was over. A country with split power and Senate 60 vote BS is ungovernable. Any party whose interest is in obstruction can automatically win regardless of the outcome of elections. Exceedingly rare is it to hold all three parts AND 60 Senate seats.

So yes. Those of us who hoped American Democracy might still prevail. We hoped for a greater backlash against Trump from the American people. We were wrong. Throwing one man out of office was not enough. His party had to go in a meaningful way. Yet Democrats BARELY held a Senate majority, and Republicans regained control the House. There is no governing us away from the cliff. Or any indication that Republican voters oppose the coup, or further use of force against our Democracy. Every election is another chance for them to gain the leverage to try again. Project 2025 is the open and bold declaration for how to make January 6th succeed next time.

There will be a next time. So no, I don't see how anyone could be happy about the situation we find ourselves in, in the aftermath of such weak election results. The Republican Party is truly united behind MAGA and all the glorious horror that it portends for us. A hot take wold be to imagine that is is over, or that we have won. No, this is just the beginning.

Am I misreading this? The guy from the Heritage foundation made it seem like a big win for America. Tell me what you think.
Turning the whole body of government agencies into yes-men for Dear Leader, is how you breed corruption.
It is the definition for how Russia, China, and North Korea function. And you want us to become that. Because Heritage said so.

Your thoughts on January 6th would be most illuminating. If it was not already an obvious guess. From there I do not expect either of us has much use for words or civil discourse.

No kidding. That's lazy even for that dipshit.

Hell, even when I was voting Republican I had no stomach for the Heritage Foundation. I couldn't stand the religious right wing and social conservatism of the GOP. That side of the party always conflicted with the more libertarian side.

It's clear that cronyism is bad. Period. And if loyalty to a party or a man rather than qualifications, track record and experience becomes the ultimate deciding factor for administrative jobs in government we are fucking doomed.

They really are trying to create the Republic of Gilead.

The President of Heritage promoted the big lie that there was massive voter fraud in 2020. That was the lie which was the predicate for Jan 6.

You should recognize the Trump doctored hurricane map which was issued by NOAA. P2025 would eliminate that organization and their function would be replaced by loyalists which means the weather information disseminated would be Trump dependent and less based on the actual science.

Another example the head of the FDA and other officers would be replaced by Trump loyalists. They could and likely will just issue an edict Mifepristone is dangerous and take it off the market.

I did not know this, thanks for the info. As you know J6 is the reason why I oppose Trump as he doesn't care about the country only his ego. Looking back, that has been a lifelong fault of his. It's ok when you are a private citizen but not president.

However the HF is bigger than it's president and bigger than Trump.

If you are in the mood to shit your pants check out this interview with the President of the Heritage Foundation, one of the P2025 architects. Not only are the plans scary listen how this guy lies, obfuscates and misleads yet idiots believe him.

Pretty good rundown of 2025 here

Their "Voter Fraud" claims are largely a fraud, and when looked at critically, actually show that voter fraud is less common than being struck by lightening.

Yup voter fraud in such low numbers unable to turn the election result even in a single district. And completely ignoring the fact the majority of the fraud is committed by the right.

Complaints about crimes committed by migrants. Not to discount the few cases that has occurred but when they can be counted on a single hand, it’s being overblown.

It's the uncomfortable question that apparently nobody has an answer for.

How come after the last 8 years of Trump the Dems have only been able to barely scrape by tiny majorities? Where is the large scale repudiation of Trump from the electorate?

Is America just sick, or are Dems also failing to deliver a winning message? Or both?
Few things IMO

We have a large part of the electorate that is cool with...

sexual assault (Trump bragged before the election)
rape (Trump found guilty in civil case where Trump said he raped her)
murder (Trump bragged about doing it in 5th ave and his people wouldn't care)

If Trump was caught red handed raping an 8 year old girl his supporters would not care. It's who they are. Not the fault of the Dems.

I blame the Dems for treating the right like Republicans Bush. Those days are long gone. Dems are not tough enough and are too concerned about tradition/institutionalism. While Dems do that Republicans and their stooges in the media are running them over.

Example: When Steve Doocy asks KJP another sandbaggy question she should remind people his network was forced to pay 787M for intentionally lying to the public.

Example: Investigation into SCOTUS corruption by billionaires. Lenoard Leo has been issued a subpoena but he has refused to comply. ARREST HIS ASS! Show your base you are not fucking around.
