I NEVER trust these to be valid any more, Too many people altering the original coupon. I've been embarassed too many times by trying to use these in the past. If its actually on Hollywood video's site, then I'll use it, otherwise I'll pass!

Wow, way to live life on the edge. I'm going to try and use this. I mean, I've been told that coupons don't work for a lot of things, but how could I be embarassed? Other than gas costs and my time, I wasted nothing..

I guess my time is worth more than yours and gas prices are going up! There has been a rash of altered coupons on these web pages lately just so you know. BTW, your sucess will vary GREATLY depending on the hollywood video store you go to. I've never had very good luck with mine.

I just rented 3 dvds with this coupon, but it was a tough one to use.

The manager wanted first stated that they don't take copies of coupons, and then I stated that it wasn't a copy, but a coupon printed from the net.

Then he was looking for the hollywood video URL on the bottom of the page to indicate that it really is from the HV website...he said, where's the website address? I then stated that I just copied the image to my hard drive so I wouldn't have to access the website all the time.

The manager then stated, the barcode isn't even legible, so I can't scan it. But then he said, I have a coupon in the drawer...and he let it slide just this once. Note that I used the coupon without the clear UPC...(the clear one wasn't available earlier).

He told me to get the coupon directly off the website if I wanted to use it next time...

Does anyone have a direct link from the website? I looked, but I couldn't find anything...

Oh yeah, and he said that they weren't having 20% off pre-viewed dvds...I just double-checked and the website says that they do...oh well.

These work and are scanable 99Cent rentals untill the end of next month . Blockbuster will also let you use these coupons. Remember kiddies your milage may vary.

Used one today in SLC, UT and a friend used one in Las Vegas. Took a little work but got 3 DVD for $3.00. I just told them that I got it in an e-mail (which I did...from a friend).

I just used it at Western Ave, Los Angeles and when I said I have coupons for 99 cents renatls the guy just say "oh.. okay "

It didn't work for me.. The guy was real nice and he called the other stores and the HQ, but finally someone said something on how we might have scanned the coupon and just kept printing out copies. I said I got it in an email from Hollywood Video but the guy says that they don't send out coupons like that via email.

Worked for me. Got 3 movies with the coupon The manager just typed the code into her computer and .99 cent rentals. Thanks for the deal and just a reminder its still good for a week.

hadn't rented there for the longest time but the manager gave me no problem.
walked out with Rallisport Challenge (xbox game), Ghost World and Sexy Beast.
