So this is driving me nuts. This has to mean something! Given the background of the writers, and the fact that in the past they have put in lots of mathmatical easter eggs this must mean something.

Shows up as...
001100
010010
011110
100001
101101
110011

Converted...
Hex: 3127A1B73
Dec: 13194894195
ASCII: (not proper ASCII)

Of course if you listen to this part of the DVD it says this code is the "the universal machine language time code, they key to time travel". If you think of this as machine code well it doesn't really work because AFAIK there are no 36 bit cpus.

Just taking a shot in the dark I'd figure I'd do a quad root (4th dimension = time) of 13194894195 = 9973464^(1/4) * sqrt(7) * 3 ^ (3/4)

Anyone else have any ideas?

Ahhh come on. It's fun and it adds another dimension to the show.

Kinda looks like infinity... maybe?

DEC made some 36-bit computers in the PDP series back in the day.
Can't say I remember which ones, but feel free to go find them

I think IBM made something too, but I don't have a clue what those were called...

Oh and those 2x3 lines are "mirrors" of each other.
Line one is the binary opposite of line six, etc.
Edit: Ah, I see you posted a picture that illustrates this

When you add up each line you get numbers that are all divisible by 3:

001100 = 12 / 3 = 4
010010 = 18 / 3 = 6
011110 = 30 / 3 = 10
100001 = 33 / 3 = 11
101101 = 45 / 3 = 15
110011 = 51 / 3 = 17

Beyond that, I can't see any significance.

Listen to the commentary, they explain it from 0:25 to 0:28. There's nothing overly interesting aside from the fact that it can be read in a mirror (which Fry does in the movie).

I'm sure I saw this answered already but it's two parts.

1) It's symmetrical so you can read it in the mirror
2) If you split the line in half and take the left side only, so 001100 you take the 001 part. It's basicaly 1,2,3,4,5,6 in binary.

Yup. That's just what I was about to say.

Right. I just watched this Monday and the commentary track mentions the numbers were originally winning numbers to a lottery that Bender was going to go back and win, but they took out that subplot and changed it to the 1,2,3,4,5,6.

The top is a M and the bottom is suppose to be a G. It's Matt Groening's initials. I read about this somewhere.
