0308MPMW, 0311VPMW or 0311XPMW??

Which of these cpu's should I buy?

The 0311VPMW is the cheapest and 0308MPMW the most expensive.

Also.. What will have to do to unlock this cpu on an Asus A7V333?

I am running an AXP 1800+ T bred A right now and I can't get higher multipliers than 12.5 This is fine for this cpu but I need higher for a
T-bred B. Will I have to cut bridges and stuff to accomplish this?

get the 0310 XPMW or WMPW, from excaliberpc

I got the 0310 XPMW and it does 2300mhz fairly stable. It will run prime95 for about a half hour. I need to tweak it a bit more so it will run more stable.

Yeah, I read somewhere the 0311/0312 doesnt overclock so well, shimm/bgeh both have there 0310's doing 2.5ghz on air.

mine is 2.5 stable on water but nonetheless stable

i backed it down though cuz temps were getting to high for me

currently running the 0310UPMW at 2.42 ghz @ 1.875 (1.79 actual) volts

my 0310wpmw is at 2.4 ghz @ 1.8 (1.74 actual) volts

in order to get 2.5 on both these babies, i have to up the vcore to at least 1.9 volts (still under the 1.85 volts that i usually won't go over)

but i'm very satisfied with these chips...

it undervolts when under 100% load... when it's not under 100%, it's not AS bad

Hey everyone. This is Excelsior, but for some reason I can't login under my name. Just wanted to say I got my Soltek 75FRN2 today, and getting ready to install it.

Yoyoyo.. I got the cpu today and it booted up at 2083 mhz which is the highest this mobo will support with pci in spec. It runs fine at default voltage at this speed but I had to up it alittle to 1.55 to get it prime 95 stable.

It is about 39 C at idle and 46.5 C under load. I am using a Thremalright AX-7 with a papst 12 db fan.
Now I HAVE to buy a new NForce board just to see how far this chip can go.

Does anyone know how to tell the revision of asus nforce boards? The Abit nf7 2.0 is all over the place here in Sweden but I think I wanna go with the Asus version.

Btw.. there actually is a small descernable difference between 1750 mhz and 2083! It feels just a li'l snappier.
