GM's muscle cars surely sunk pretty low in the 90's and onward, but from what I understand there was a time not too terribly long ago when GM's muscle cars were laying some spank down.

Did you ever drive or ride in a Mustang? Maybe its just 'cuz I'm 6' 4" 250lbs, but the damn thing was far too cramped. I don't care if the Camaro was more bloated and less balanced, it was a hella lot more comfortable and people could almost sort of survive in the back seats.

And yes, the engine roxored

For fun I test drove like an '02-'03 Mustang GT and I think it was an '00-'01 Z28, both autos (). Just in my little spinnage around the area, I have to say the Z28 fvcking rocked. The engine was so much more THERE whenever you dropped the hammer and handling was no contest. A buddy of mine who has a souped up Mustang and races it from time to time made a good point though: Camaro's are a good deal longer and less weight balanced so taking turns at high speeds was more difficult due to swinging that big ass out a lot easier. I can't say I'd race it seriously so I wouldn't mind getting ass happy
