Team AnandTech SETI - 1:00 PM CDT Update - (Sunday, May 05, 2002)
I have found alternative sources for most of the reports (if not all) that I generate each day at 1:00 PM CST.
For instance:
The Complete Team Ranked by Total WUs can be found in several locations on the web. The one that seems to be the most up to date is:
SETIatWork
You can enter your SETI NAME in the space provided and you will add an additional column that gives you the projected number of days until you pass or get passed by every member of Team AnandTech. That is an awesome feature. In addition to that it also gives you the last seven days of production for each member. It updates every hour. This is really a dream ?stats? site.
The Complete Team Ranked by 1d, 7d, and even 30d Averages can be found here:
Team Battle on the Seti@Netherlands Website
To see the team sorted by any column including NAME just click the appropriate heading. You can even get the Big Movers over the last 1d, 7d, or 30d time period by clicking on those headings. Pascal has given the Seti@Netherlands Website a truly awesome stats tool. And it is there for all of the Top Seti Teams.
For some graphs of the top teams you can use: S@N Team Top 25 for all sorts of Top Team Analysis. I?ve been using data from this site to construct my on Top 25 Team Analysis.
Some of these same reports can also be had at our top stats man?s site: Soni?s Seti Stats for Team AnandTech. Soni also provides a link to Users Who Left and New Users Today.
This 1:00 PM CDT report is something that I have had a lot of fun keeping up. At first, it was just some things that I was doing for myself and I thought you all would like seeing too. Then it grew and grew. I have basically gotten myself ?chained? for the mid-day hour and it has become a little like work. The program I have used for the construction of my reports is SetiTEAM. Sqiz has already announced that he will no longer support SetiTEAM so its days are numbered anyway. All it will take will be for Berkeley to change one little thing on their report pages and SetiTEAM will crash for the last time. This has been bothering me for the longest and I have been trying to work out alternative methods. That search has led me to locate the above mentioned stat sites.
I realize that the more ?stuff? we have on the forums, the more interest there will be in the Seti Team. I think instead of a daily grind of stats that can now be found in other places (as I have pointed out above) I will devote my time and efforts to other things. I really enjoy creating novel reports that are not easily acquired. I need to spend more time with my own mini-team (the competition is really getting tough) . So please do not hold me to task for halting these daily reports. I?ll just be doing some other things that hopefully will be more productive and beneficial to the TeAm.
