1,000,000 blocks - who wants them?

I am leaving the effort - it's gotten very boring...I've got over 1,000,000 blocks http://stats.distributed.net/rc5-64/psummary.php3?id=336419 - and would like to give them to someone if you can tell me how to transfer them.

So - what'll y'all offer for them

If you were using the Bigfoot address that's in your stats, that's probably why you can't post here under your old name. Bigfoot is one of the freemail services that has been banned from the forums.

As for your blocks, are you already a member of Team AnandTech? Were you looking to make sure the blocks went to the team? Retire in to another member's address?

They are submitted, but I didn't know if I could 'transfer' them to someone else? If not, just let me know - I just wanted to check first, so they wouldn't just sit out there and never grow again. Figured if it's possible, someone would want them, since I don't.

Yes, retiring is what you're describing. You can retire your Dnet ID (eMail address) in to another participants and your blocks would be folded in to theirs. Dnet has an eight eMail limit, though.

You can do this by going in to the "Edit your Information" section on your stats page.

Please! It doesn't bother me to have blocks that my machine didn't produce...I call it assimilation (or ASSlamination, or something like that.) It would more than make up for blocks I've checked and didn't get credit for. Way more!

Dunno if anyone else remembers this, but some guys from 3dNow.org sold 100k blocks on e-bay one time. I don't recall for how much, but they figured that no one would do it, but were quite suprised when it happened, and fully went through with it.

What's the difference between RC5 blocks and on-line Ultima characters? Or Magic cards? Or mini-team racing? Or just being involved for the stats, not caring what the project is really doing anymore?
