AMD Boxed 1.33GHz CPU with IWILL KK266.

$219 + tax, which will come out to about $236.52. So it's an OK deal, considering 1.33GHz retail is $170 at Newegg, and KK266 is $107 on pricewatch. Cheapest price on pricewatch for combo deal is $246, and I suspect this is OEM CPU with the mobo, not retail. Not sure tho.

I would think it's 266FSB, since the 200FSB one is usually labelled 1.3GHz, and that's what Fry's have been doing also.

It'a a Retail board w/ an OEM processors.. I go to the Sunnyvale Frys a lot and OMG they're starting to sell all these stuff that are geared towards the Aftermarket Performance PC market (Case Modder) ThermoTake BlueOrb... ThermoTake New RamSink, and that Temp monitor Lcd Thinge.. it's all very cool that Frys are carring all these cool stuff now.

If someone want one of these combo I can go and get one for you, assuming that You paypal me first to cover the cost + Tax and shipping.

Oh BTW.. I forgot.. I think Frys Carry AXIA chips.

Anyone try to get Fry's to upgrade that deal to the KK266R? Do they not carry the raid board yet? I want to get on this deal but I much rather have the raid board.

Yeah, I just called them. The first store I called hung up on me twice. The 2nd store I called put me on hold for 10 minutes just to have a misinformed girl tell me, "Raid? We don't have that, try Orchard Supply."

Friday's ad in the OC Register had the 1.33GHz Athlon bundled with the Epox 8kTA3+ (has Raid and takes SDRAM) for $229. I bought it and felt it was a good deal and an easy upgrade for me. Any opinions on this one?

FYI, the ad also had:

900 Athlon and Shuttle AK12 for $129
1.4 Pentium 4 and Abit TH7 Raid for $329

Today's ad had a 466 Celeron and Soyo SY-7IWW/L for $74
