Not sure. The flyer, one sheet (front and back) is labeled with Markets A-D (week of 14th - 20th). If they didn't scan the printer, they probably wouldn't know about it as it was not labeled on the floor at my OfficeMax either. If anyone needs it, I could scan the ad to be hosted....just let me know.

I just picked this up....threw in $23.00 of Free After MIR stuff and used a Staples $20.00 off $100 (YMMV depending on OM staff, etc) so I got this for $9.99 along with the other items + tax on $87. So about $14 bucks for the printer and other items. Not bad.

Not sure, but I have both now so I may compare. I did notice the resolution is lower (2400 vs 4800 of the i470D)..but the print speed is 47 seconds vs 90 ish for the i470D (on 4 x 6 prints). The S530D looks better to me (opinionated! )...is heavier also. The 4 inks tanks vs the black and color cartridge of the i470D may be an advantage..not sure yet. We'll see.

Picked one up this evening. There was no flyer in my store but it rang up with the corrct price and the rebate form printed out. Manager even rang me in and was surprised.

Seems kind of crazy to me for a manager not to know an item in his/her market is on sale and to have it posted within the store.

Monsterinkjets.com has generics for $1.69 for each (there are 4 of them total). They have a minimum order of $15.00 but have FREE shipping.

I'm also thinking you can get them cheap at Megatoners.com...but they charge shipping under a certain dollar amount!

That was the funniest trip to OM I have ever had. Two people didn't believe me about the rebates and refused to just scan the item for me. I threw a fit and finally they did... The assistant and the manager both dropped their jaws when they saw the price.

Working Great here. The fact that it also has the card reader function is very nice. Cleared 1 more thing off my already overflowing desk. Prints text nice and fast, images look good. Still need to test out the 4x6 photo paper that it came with.
