How do you know? Did you call them and ask the speed of the CPU? As I pointed out above, that model comes with anything from a 1.3GHz to a 1.6GHz CPU, as stated on asus's spec page. I still think the ecost model has a slower CPU.Originally posted by: ThetaOne

That's simply not true... I called them about this because it was so damned cheap. It's the prebuilt combo that was reviewed on Tom's Hardware - I got that from two different employees.
The only difference from the main deal is the 256mb instead of the 512mb.
Let me add that I don't trust eCost after what they've done to me in the past, so I will skip this.
