I have 2 of the p4s333 systems, both with Malay 1.6A:
The RAM support is awesome in terms of you can use all the slots. I have 1.5GB using three 512MB. Kick ass, it is hard to find DDR motherboard to support that. ((I'm using Crucial)). Personally I think that PC2100 is all you need, especially with a 1.6A...
The only real problem I have with the board: It turns out the PS2 mouse port may have a problem At times the whole system will pause for 5 seconds... for me, about every 3 or 4 hours. All IRQ's halt.. .music stops, mouse stops, etc. After 10 seconds it resumes. On Usenet I found out that others had seen this too and in all cases a PS2 mouse was being used. A USB mouse would solve the problem... I am still using PS2 - it doesn't cause crashes, but it isn't fun...
Great board. Latest BIOS works fine for me too.
I can get to 150Mhz FSB on both my systems... but if it gets over 85 degrees in my RV (yes, I live full time in a motorhome and both my systems ar 4u rackmount under the couch).... I need to drop to 133Mhz... if it gets over 95egrees under the couch I have to drop to 1.6G There is a reason Intel rates them for high heat -- and they overclock. Wait until summer, your overclocking will drop. Of course, I am in Arizona now and it is starting to get warm during the days... but only for a few hours each day. I'm planning on adding a couple large fans under the couch - but that drains my batteries/inverter more... easier to just turn down the clock speed a bit.
Run them in a 50 degree room, I bet I could do 155FSB!
