1 way to keep a 9700 pro cooled in this heat

my damn radeon 9700 pro is overclocked 370 core and 370 mem, with all this heat i head to cut my core back some with my zalmon cooler


but i fixed that tonight..what ya think

70x70mm 3600 rpm fan from a compaq p4 heat sink, not very noisy either

don't u get artifacts at that speed? btw..its smarter to put the fan on the case adjacent to the zalman because the heatsink is designed to have horizontal wind and not rite above the heatsink itself.

did u drill holes in that zalman?! u better have not!

I ordered the HP version but i still want it active(fan)

i have a stelath fan blowing air across the whole heat sink but the direct cooling sems to work much much better for the overclock

there is no holes, screws fit between the fins

Does the Zalman put too much stress that its not well for transport(i mean like just 1-3 times/year)

its definatly heavy just dont jar your case in any way that would put stress on the agp slot, better yet pack it sepratly in a box till you get there
