Hello everybody.

I've just rejoined TA's RC5 crusade after a half year hiatus (used to be a regular here a year or two ago). Been cracking on my own for the past month so I've got 10,000 blocks to contribute so far.
I've got 3 computers cracking at home, and I've gotten a friend's Duron 700 to help out as well.

Good to be back,
Nohr.

Welcome back, Nohr! We have made some real advancements in our Team as a whole, such as the Team AnandTech site, which is hosted on a nice dualie we built after doing some fundraising. The old dualeron that hosted the Team pProxy for a long time now is The Core, and collaborates with the web-hosting dualie to bring us our familiar stats... look under On-Site>Distributed.net, and you can use proxy.teamanandtech.com for a keyserver if you want to be listed in the "By Email" stats... gives you those half-hourly weekstats and fullstats

We also have a Team IRC channel, it is channel #teamanandtech on irc.teamanandtech.com

Glad to see a member back onboard.

Thanks for the warm welcome.
I actually started using the team proxy earlier today. Couldn't resist the lure of constant stats. Is 'By Email' the only way to see your stats? Is there any kind of a search function? Kinda a pain to figure out what page I'm on. No big deal though, I guess it'll become easier to find as I get higher in the stats.

Congrats to all on the fundraiser. Sounds like the same old team anandtech spirit I remember.

Nohr.

Thanks Russ.

Just for that, I went out and bought two celerys today, we'll see how they overclock, and they will join my fire team. Hopefully I'll have a fire squad soon. And I'll be dreaming at night of my own Cow Platoon, complete with Lts, Sgts, Cpls, LCpls, PFCs, and Pvts!

Lets heat this thing up boys!

Commander Jarhead's Journal, 011301, 1000 hours:

Okay, add one more, Private C533#2 (Yes, SIR!) into the firefight,
gonna let him bask in the heat of the firefight, loose a few
pounds of moisture, and hopefully meritoriously promote him
clear to Corporal C800o/c if he can handle the Fog of War.

Got his twin brother, but we had to hold at him at HQ, he
forgot his main weapon, the power cord. Maybe I'll have
to have him run clear back to the Fry's supply depot as
a punishment for his poor memory. He will be in the thick
of it by noon tomorrow, regardless, even if he has to build
his weapon from scratch.

The rest of the troops are proving themselves in battle, Pvt C533#1
is starting to challenge Cpl C550o/c and LCpl 450o/c in front of the
troops, may have to promote him soon. Caught the troops late last night,
out cow tipping over in Axis territory, in the DPC quadrant. Had to tell
them to quit horsing around and get back to their tents and get
some shut eye before the crack of dawn. I don't know if I am hearing
things or not these days, but I'd swear I heard new bells all over
the DPC quadrant, or at least in the area our troops were horsing
around. You'd figure the enemy would have learned by now, it is
like one of those Admin Captains who come out for a few days to
get some salad (ribbons) for their uniforms, and has his brand new
shinny silver Captain bars stuck in the front of his helment or on
his collar. They need to do a better job training those Naval Academy
graduates, or at least hook them up with a Mustang like myself!

Been getting letters from some officer's brat who isn't even 18
yet, Civilian P266, who keeps on clamoring for his Dad to sign
the consent papers, and today I got a letter from his little
brother, Civilian 5X86-P75-133 who swears he is going to run away
from home, buy all his equipment at the Goodwill and the Army-Navy
Surplus Store, saying he is gonna be a legend, and show up and
kick some DPC, whether the Corps is there or not. We will see,
I like his attitude.

Jarhead Fireteam #1

Cpl C550o/c
LCpl C450o/c
PFC C533 #1
PFC C533 #2
Pvt K6-3 333

PFC C533 #3 (busy out behind the Company Commanders tent doing
Bends-and-Thrust in his Alphas, in the mud!)

Shoot! We need an Old-Salt Sgt. to keep the troops squared
away and the equipment ship-shape. Will have to send a token
back to that Sgt. at the Depot who sent those high-tech
wizbangs...the Warplink! Never thought I'd see the day
that we'd actually have neural networks in the field!
Wonder if I can pull enough strings to get
Sgt. Athlon1050o/c from Company A. He'd square
things away here in a hurry, heard he could darn near
run a whole company by himself.

Turned away a real dirt bag who is a embarrassment to
the Nation, 1stLT. Pentium4-1.4. I almost shot him
myself, but he is not worth the bullet.

Can't wait to smell the scent of plastic explosives and
gunpowder at the crack of dawn...

Out.

I am currently running dual PIII700's @ 1G and a Duron 700. I have just added a C2 600@900 yesterday to run 24/7. I will try and get some more Durons for a "crack rack" a.s.a.p

Bwuahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!

Jarhead,

You're killing me! BTW, you run a tough outfit. An Athlon 1050 is only a Sarge? I hope he's at least Top.
