My daughter's school was listed as 'non qualifying' but I tried to verify (per SD thread advise) and it still worked. 12 months of FREE Premier!!!

Same here. It listed my school as not qualifying. But I went through the process anyway, they sent the mail to my .edu address, and it worked. Note, that only created the student account. I still had to go to the newegg premier page and "buy" a premiere account. The price for 1 year was now $0.00 and worked fine.

This is true. However, not all items are Shoprunner eligible. Newegg has been much more selective about which items they make eligible for Shoprunner ever since they came out with their Premier membership.
