Let's say I'm listening to a 5 hr talk radio broadcast, and I want to get exactly to 3:27... Can this get there relatively quickly? I've been using my PDA as my primary MP3 player, just for the stylus/slider bar.

FYI for all those who got in on the Zune deal, both Target and Staples have zune gear on clearance. I got a $20 case for $5 @ target, and staples had pretty much everything zune related marked down, most just a few dollars right now. YMMV of course.

ahh...yes the infamous poop colored zune. I was able to get on the woot zune deal, but this is one is a decent deal nonetheless.

When did you order yours? I ordered mine on the morning of the 4th and still don't see any indication that the order has shipped. This is the first time I've bought something from woot.com, so I'm not familiar with how they work completely. I'm guessing that they are shipping out orders in order of time ordered (whew, 3 orders in one sentence!).

Visited my local Target last night and no Zune clearance only Ipod stuff on clearance. I'll try Staple today and/or another Target.

I ordered 10/5, mine shipped out yesterday as well. I wouldn't worry about woot though... if you got a message saying your order went through, I'm sure you'll get it.

I hemhawed around about ordering one & finally decided on the 8th. Got notification this AM that it shipped FedEx on the 9th.

My Target (Seekonk, MA) didn't have anything marked down but Staples did, though only at a very small discount.

Got mine this (yesterday I guess) morning, and I really like it, but the zune software royally sucks. It keeps locking up on me, and I have to reconnect the zune every once in a while when I'm syncing songs over.

Overall, it's pretty good for the price, it's really only the software that's bugging me.

Mine looked brand new. Only way of knowing it's a refurb is the refurb sticker on the back of the unit along the top edge and the many references to refurbished printed on the retail package.

Tried both the Targets in my area and the only Zune stuff on clearance were very ugly Zune cases. Nothing else. Haven't tried Staples yet.
