it was around 438MB for me on my mbp. downloaded pretty fast (within minutes), and installed fast as well.

also...is there any way to see if apple quietly decided to include i5/i7 cpus and/or possibly different gpus? it could give us an idea of whats coming in the new macbook pros.

This is the part that really interests me:

AirPort and wireless networking fixes for:

• general reliability for wireless connections.
• improvements to 802.1X reliability, including closed network connections , and WPA2.
• sleep/wake reliability for current iMac models when connected to 2.4GHz wireless networks.

I sure hope this solves peoples wireless issues. Folks who ran 10.5 had none, but after upgrading to 10.6 all kinds of wireless issues popped up. Unable to connect, dropouts, sluggish performance, etc.....

Installed the 10.6.3 update on my C2D Mini. No issues. I always repair permissions before and after the updates. Seems a bit snappier. A couple of other friends noticed that also.

What I'm interested in are the OpenGL performance improvements that were supposed to make it in to this version.

OpenGL actually performs worse for me now, though this is with an Intel GMA 950. It is in fact quite a bit worse, so much so that I may go back to 10.6.2.

The update also makes my MacBook run hotter for some reason, by a good 5-6 degrees. I'm not sure if it has disabled CoolBook but it doesn't appear to have. I should have learned my lesson previously from updating so quick, but I guess not.

I am using a MacBook 2.2Ghz (4GB of RAM, 500GB 7200 RPM HD-less than half full). My connection is wireless and I am using FIOS (25/15).

I will have to try FireFox and see if it appears slow as well. Anyone else having this problem?

Hmm.. I've noticed the same. Thought maybe it was just my connection.. but it has been slower since the update. Safari seems just as fast, but pages aren't rendered as quickly as before.

I think my system is just being weird overall.. but that was way before I installed 10.6.3.

you need to remove sleepenabler and it should work... i have posted more detail on the hackintosh thread.
